  • Look we even save soliders from a branch that disrespects us the most.

  • Look how long this video is! LOOK HOW MUCH THEY GOT DONE! at the beginning of the video you hear the pilot say they have 12min left on scene. they got all 3 people back in the chopper in 7!!!!

  • haha this swimmer loves his job, hear him yelling? gonna be me in a year and a half.

  • good luck

  • Absolutely brilliant. Great job, y'all!

  • 9 minutes to BINGO fuel. Wow. Kinda hairy operation there. Bravo!

  • great job!!!!

  • This is one of the most impressive videos of a helo water rescue I have seen. Although we would do things differently down under (not neccessarily better)with this type of operation - the "conning" by the hoist operator was VERY PROFESSIONAL - Can we borrow her?

  • agreed.

  • very lucky, indeed.

  • Another amazing rescue video! You don't think about it often, but truly the Coast Guard is everywhere along our coasts, performing countless honorable duties -- saving lives, rescuing ships, protecting the environment, drug interdictions -- and without them a lot of things would fall apart. God bless the United States Coast Guard!

  • Hell yeah, much love to the USCG...thats my brother talking throughout the video "Big swell, big swell. That's a thirty footer." (@4:20) Flying, and saving 2 more lives and I couldnt be more proud...LtJG Merrick :)

  • good job to him

  • This is a slight correction to the title.

"Coast Guard saves two *more* sailors (after saving over one million "Semper Paratus"

For boat rescues, would the U.S.C.G consider showing leaving the sailboat behind, as the HH-65

  • leaves

Why? This could be useful, when possible, for boat safety classes, some of which are taught by the U.S.C.G. Auxiliaries (you can listen to the instructor now & practice at sea . . . or have this experience of leaving your *expensive* sailboat behind . .

    Out

Your understated demeanor makes it easy to consider daily CG operations as routine when it is anything but. Life and death never is.
