@Dude12nothin - believe me, no watch is 100% waterproof, water-resistant is the correct term.

IMO.one pump will pump the fluid around the dial, until it reaches 6 o'clock. then a wheel will engage to draw the fluid back, either to 7 o'clock or 6 o'clock. one pump for pressure, one for vacuum. there could be another barrel or a spring in there to activate the vacuum pump.the fluid has to be of the kind that doesn't leave droplets after it returns, else that will be ugly.

To all who are asking is it water proof, yes it is. When it says 100M it means you can go upto 100m underwater before the watch will break of the amount of pressure and I'm pretty sure that if your going to go underwater your not going to be wearing a $45K watch. Like so people can see this it will answer lots of people's questions.

@TheMiniProdigy Sorry to say that: Except regarding certified divers Watches, that´s wrong and a very common assumption. When it say´s "100m" this means generally, it will withstand a static pressure of 10 Bar. The pressure conditions while moving under water are not consistent.

This is a fashion accessory. Shouldn't it need to have less points of failure to be considered high-tech? Less moving parts would be a good start. (Did wonders for the hdd) Involving a liquid mechanism that could crack / get an air bubble / jam the pump is not a good direction. Besides, doesn't it take more power to push those pumps than to spin a few wheels?
