I know that this documentary was critical of this sort of thinking but if anything it's further galvanized my Objectivistic views and furthermore my faith in machines.
@rtsjoe I found it full of loose explanations and fuzzy arguments... and too many generalizations. I didn't like it much. But I agree, it made me realise though, how important and crucial science and technology really are.
As a Adam Curtis fan, I have to say he was all over the place. I never felt he was giving a consistent argument in this series. He should have had more focus but he was to broad in what he was appearing to attack. So the whole cybernetics criticism felt a bit disjointed as he tried to attack multiple theories
dunno shit about brautigan, but i sense an ironic bent to the tone and diction.
