Watching this again, it really is awesome. Honestly, the first time you lift the weight it looks like you'll barely manage that rep. The way you fight through the set and manage 3 reps is just amazing. Well done good sir. How's the 675 coming along?
@macdicas Thanks very much. My 675 is delayed at the moment. After the 645x3 My CNS crashed in the toilet and I screwed up my peak. I'm now on deload and speed work in my weak area until my CNS kicks back up. Then I can start heavy work again. I'm sure I will get 675 this year.
@OldtimeChris yes it is, and I screwed up. At this lift I was at my peak, I missed it and am now starting back to get where I was. I should have only pulled that for a single. I kept getting PR's every week with triples. Now my CNS took a huge nosedive and I'm now focusing on speed work in my weak range. Even an old guy like me learns new things when we screw up.
@kaithebb720 Thank you much. On my quest to pull 675 I have had many, many temporary defeats. However I will not quit until my goal is reached. I'm almost there.

Ever hurt your back on heavy deadlifts? I am kind of afraid to pull heavy again... got hurt on a 440 attempt. couple of month ago, still not 100%

@OldtimeChris That sucks sir, no I have not ever hurt myself doing deads.

@machinelandtv Do you always keep your reps low in deads? Isnt it very hard to recover after lifting so heavy weights?
