I love this game so much I was Romania and I put a left wing radical government into power and let's just say history went a different way oh and everything became a huge cluster fuck not in a bad way though }:{D but if you do play Romania as a fascist/ left wing radical then wait to invade Bulgaria til you have an advanced army cause they have good stuff in the beginning!

@BouillonGottfried Austria-Hungary was broken up after the end of world war 1. It split into several countries, Austria and Hungary among them, to completley rebuild the Austro-Hungarian empire he would need to take over Romania along with several other nations.

The name of the game is Hearts of Iron 2, im playing the expansion Armageddon, the game is made by Paradox Interactive, you can get it thorugh Steam, Gamersgate, or in retail, oh and before you ask i modded the game to add austria hungary, the game focuses on ww2 and its super hustorical :p

how can you rename your nation when you have already started your game? For instance after Hungary was annexed Austria was renamed to Austria-Hungary and the flag was also changed! Is it possible or you need a mod or something like that?

No, you only need to make an event like I did have a look at 2:22 there is an event in the background that i made but forgot to take a screenshot...

hey man i just downloaded the hoi2 doomsday mod for ww1 1914 how do i make it work... if i replace the hoi2 files then nothing works... if i like rename the files from the mod and place them into the hoi2 folders the game works but it gets mixed together... ex... in 1897 when you start off.... germany has tech tree from 1941 with improved infantry division... another ex... the leaders of different countries get mixed up... if you can help i would really be grateful....

just copy and paste everything together, and browse the 1914 section to see if they show you what hoi you need, I used armageddon 1.1
