I also like the opportunity people have to express themselves but there are disadvantages too.
Adding to your point on psychology, besides the reverse view people have of the activist depending on their actual opinion there is also *refers to old psychology book* group polarization which is when people strongly affirm their views after finding others that feel similarly. This affirmation can result in good and bad such as increased prejudice. That scares me. :/
i dont care that he expresses his thoughts, i have problems with his philosophy, hypocrisies and contradiction, its not the simple action of saying what he thinks i despise him 4, its what he DOES think, some things he should just keep to himself like calling unborn babies parasites, siding with terrorists, calling meat eaters murderers, the hypocrisy of him spreading hate and complaining when people hat on him, he cant expect no one to retialate when he pulls this shit
@HeisaCookie that's okay, if you want to retaliate because you think he's wrong and really have something to say on the matter, then this video really isn't aimed at you.
@jonnEfishBoNe Constructive debate is fine in my book, activists really invite it, on youtube as well. It's good and it's really the point of activism, to invite debate which could potentially lead to change. It's when people are like, "STOP FORCING THIS ON ME" after having chosen to click on a link entitled something like "Vegetarians are better than everyone" or when they say, "Get off youtube" or the like. It's not constructive, it just lends to apathy about the topic at hand.
Very well said.
