@vickvicki Usually its because of pressure. This poor girl was pressured into doing sexual favors for her manager or other people, but this isn't a rare case in S.Korea. Managers usually push their actresses into doing something they don't want to do which ends up in suicide. When incidents like this happens, pressure is the key word. I've also heard about blackmail, thats why these actors don't tell police and stuff because their managers would usually blackmail them. Sad, really. :/

She was forced to do that to advance her career.
Her management company wouldn't help her, instead, they told her to endure it. She couldn't take the things that the PD was doing to her so she made the decision to end up her life. =(

@annwyfnazgul i read somewhere that most of their cultures believe that the after life would bring peace to their soul, that's why when the people weren't happy or stressed with their lives they often took the easy path which is suicidal. i don't know if it's true though, correct me if i'm wrong :-)

In order to get promoted in the industry you need to have sex with company/program directors and such. It happens in China and Japan too. Its how the industry works. i think how she died explains the true reality of the entertainment industry in east asia. If you dont like, they will fire you. cause there is plenty of girls who want to be stars at the cost of having sex with strangers

Well... Her manager revealed that she was physically abused and forced to sleep with a certain stupid PD.
She was forced to do that to advance her career.
Her management company wouldn't help her, instead, they told her to endure it. She couldn't take the things that the PD was doing to her so she made the decision to end up her life. =(
