the casting is brilliant

Like most indie movies, it's about "nothing" or "everything", if you're feeling hippie enough, but I liked the randomness of it all. The acting is great overall, and the themes are pretty profound. It was like 100 minutes or so, but it blew by extremely fast.

i saw this in the theater and i also have the dvd. i can't think of too many movies i have absolutely needed to see, but this is definitely one of them. very enjoyable! the opening scene with him lighting his hand on fire is the best, and even better when he explains it later.
