I would think you would be more of a target out in the woods. It's not like the police can get to you very quick, and in the middle of the boonies it's not like you have a ton of neighbors to come running to your aid. @fermi911 Very true. Im a gun owner but i almost never carry my pistol. I do however carry a knife everywere, mostly as a tool. Im pretty sure its saved my life before. I carry my pistol though whenever i go to Milwalkee. The north side is crazy.

Another thing you might want to check out is the Waffengesetz from 1938. Of course, it disarms all people that were considered as non-german, but made it quiet easy to get guns for members of the NSDAP. On first sight this seems to support your argumentation, but when you realize that the vast majority of all germans had a membership, it means the majority was able to arm themselfes.

Pardon,Warcorpse, I know you only respond to videos, but you might want to read this one: It is true that Hitler disbanded all organized armed groups, e.g Freikorps(unofficial militia) or the Stahlhelm (not-nazi nationalists), but he did not disarm the populace. E.g. many boys of 16(or so) were given a light rifle in the HJ, which they could take home. That alone means that in most to every household was at least one gun, since every youth in german was per decree part of the HJ.
