  • Sic semper tyrannis

  • @pho20jo The South seceded for exactly the reasons they proclaimed to the rest of the world, in their various secession documents and speeches...the protection and expansion of slave rights.

  • FUCK YOU

  • Comment removed

  • @clevelandman2010 why the fuck would you ever like this tyrant.

  • sad thing is george washington owned slaves learn your history mr president

  • this idiot makes me sick,im from calif.and our state has been tooken over by fucking wetbacks,im with the confedracy lets stand up and shout...I have pals in arkansas.....

  • @playboy95338 You're a tool. The first Republican Pres. candidate Southerner John C. Fremont...he moved to California, and didn't want to see the evils of the South's plantation economy forced on the West, by Southern politicians in control of the Fed. People like US Sec. of War Jeff Davis...a man who believed that newly formed states had no right to vote for themselves, on the issue of slavery.

  • the fuckin war wasnt about slavery it was about states rights. im from the south and i dont fly my rebel flag for racism i fly it for heritage i love my southern roots ill never change.

  • @TheReneck1 "The South fought on account of the thing we quarreled with the North about. I never heard of any other cause for quarrel, than slavery" Col. John Singleton Mosby...CSA

  • @UnionStatesHeritage I could not agree with you more. The Confederacy fought to preserve slavery, nothing more, nothing less. Slavery was the root cause of the war. It's the truth that many do not want to accept.

  • @DiehardJack Never underestimate the power of denial.

  • Obama is the reptilian leader who loves fucking little aryan boys up the bumhole. Fuck this goofy piece of shit, let him rape america and then lets cannibalize the faggot.

  • @killjood666 I disapprove of Obama and I am a Republican but your comment is disgusting and uncalled for

  • obama loves to spread the welth well whats that takeing money from folks that worked for it and give it to others.Thats unacceptable.

  • more people should go to Mississippi and what happen since we lost. white people have no place anymore. its like livin in africa. thugs thugs thugs

  • funny he says hes a big history guy yet cleary he doesnt understand it SLAVERY PLAY ONLY A TINY ROLE IN THE CIVIL WAR!!!

  • @cooryholly94 google Five Myths About Why the South Seceded

  • what does it matter who was in the right during the civil war? the union won, and their federal laws slowly but surely have been taking away our rights. at the moment, thanks to NDAA for 2012, any american can be indefinitely imprisoned or executed without trial if the government decides you could be a terrorist. if this continues we will undoubtedly see another civil war in our lifetimes and i know what side i will fight on, as im sure many of you do as well.

  • blaaaaa blaaaaa blllaaaaaaaa someone needs to tell him to shut his dumb ass mouth

  • Yet this clown unabashedly and without hesitation makes his little speech every June declaring Gay Pride Month. . . .

  • @65kowalski Amen to that! I am reading the book by Josh McDowell called "The New Tolerance" very interesting.

  • @pho20jo I believe hearing 80% tax would be from the south only haha.

  • civil war was not about slavery idiots, it was about state and federal rights. Teh south was fighting for states rights, and oh wait, dont states have laws now? Oh yes they do, so did teh south really lose? think about that?

  • @ropat66 "The South fought on account of the thing we quarreled with the North about. I never heard of any other cause for quarrel, than slavery"...Col.John Singleton Mosby...CSA

the Southern states "unblushingly proclaim that slavery is to be the normal condition of this millenium which they are about to introduce, and that they, as the superior race, are bound by the law of Divine Providence, to keep the sons and daughters of Africa, in perpetual bondage"...

  • @ropat66 cont..."Our sympathies cannot go with the Confederate states, who, in the 2nd half of the 19th Century, are proclaiming a doctrine, the foulest and most revolting to ever be enunciated since our blessed Redeemer hung upon the cross of shame, and bore away the sins of the world...Sympathy with the Confederate States! We have as much sympathy with them as with a gang of robbers, or a crew of pirates".

Presbyterian scholars commenting on the war ca 1861.

    Learn some factual history.

  • @ropat66 FYI The church scholars who were commenting on the war AT THE TIME IT WAS HAPPENING, weren't Yankees. They were observing the war from 3000 miles away, in Scotland. Take note of the fact that they condemned the CSA, based on what the CSA proclaimed ITSELF to be representing.

  • According to "good" ole "honest abe" the tyrant; "If I could save the Union without freeing any slave, I would do it; if I could save it by freeing all the slaves, I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that . . . My paramount object in the struggle is to save the Union, and is not to either save or destroy slavery"

  • @Robertjcksn40 Funny, if the war wasn't about slavery, why is that every state that joined the Confederacy was a slave state. If the war was about taxation, states rights, and what not, why didn't free states and territories, join the fight on the side of the Confederacy? Fact is, they all supported the Union.

Here's a hint from the call to arms, issued by the New Mexico Territorial Legislature..."we will never submit to the enemy, OR HIS SLAVE DESPOTISM".

  • @UnionStatesHeritage Did you not read the quote? How can you argue with a fact? Abraham Lincoln himself claims the war isn't over slavery yet you are trying to claim it was.....God what a libtard, you see something in black and white and still try to prove it wrong. And I never said that slavery wasn't AN issue...however the war was mainly over state rights...one of which just so happened to be slavery.

  • @Robertjcksn40 Did you not read the quotes from Presbyterian scholars in Scotland? The war started because the South seceded. The South seceded over the issue of slavery...especially the EXPANSION of slavery. Southern states made that clear in their documents & speeches AT THE TIME.

Don't wanna answer that question, do ya. CSA Kool Aid drinkers never do.

  • @Robertjcksn40 The fact that the Union's primary objective was self preservation, does not change the fact that the South's primary objective, was the preservation of slavery.

Once AGAIN..."The South fought on account of the thing we quarreled with the North about. I never heard of any other cause for quarrel, than slavey"...The CSA's gray ghost, John Singleton Mosby.

There's a black and white quote for ya.

  • Slavery had nothing to do with the Civil War, you politic dumbass! We fought you for the same reason we fought the British: for freedom! When Lincoln noticed that he had gotten a bad reputation, he pinned it on slavery to save his ass! God bless the Confederate States of America!

  • @cutter3280 Freedom for whom? Almost half the South's population were slaves.

Newsflash. The South was never a fan of states righs. If they had been, they wouldn't have spent the first half of the 19th Century, using Federal power to suppress states rights in the West. Ever hear of Kansas? How 'bout Fugitive Slave Laws, which forced Northern states to submit to armed invasion by Southerners in search of their "property"?

    Learn factual history.

  • @UnionStatesHeritage I'd rather be historicly accruate than politicly correct, you brainwashed mother fucker!

  • @cutter3280 LOL...Then take the time to read the secession documents of Southern states, the Confederate Constitution, and The Cornerstone Speech.

Confederate "heritage" is entirely dependent on politically correct ideology.

  • @UnionStatesHeritage "Almost half the South's population were slaves." well thats a problem considering most southerners didn't even own slaves only the rich did

  • @lightning267100 What a dumb comment. The CSA was founded by and for the South's elite...the people who profited from the institution of slavery...and owned most of the South's four million slaves. People like Wade Hampton III.

Ever hear of the Twenty Slave Law?...look it up.

Take the time to research the US Census figures from 1860. They break down each state and territory's slave/free populations. Guess what?

  • Only the north side was ever toult in schools so the truth will never be known-DEO VINDICE

  • Maybe they didn't have American history books over in Kenya when Obama was growing up......cuz he abviously doesn't have a lick of sense about the Civil War

  • Slavery! Hah! The civil war was fought against an overly-centralized and increasingly tyrannical government, not slavery! Obama you are not a big history buff, but I bet your "advisers" sure are and I'm sure they know how to whisper lies in your ear. We need to get this tool out of office!

  • @ninjaseatvegies States rights revolving around the ability to decide the future of slavery for themselves. Ignorant people like you will always argue that slavery had nothing to do with it, however those who study slavery in the Americas know better.

  • @lastminuteregret

Oh really? I'm ignorant eh? So then why were 5 of the Union states pro-slavery most of the war?

  • @ninjaseatvegies None of those states had economies dependent on cotton production. All of those states were places where slavery was already in decline, as an institution.

  • @UnionStatesHeritage Do you have proof of your claim that none of the states were dependent on Cotton before the Civil War started and slavery was on decline? The Confederacy suceded. Why? Because of completely different economic and social models, revolving around slavery, etc.

  • @TheWildbison LOL. Proof? How 'bout the fact that cotton can't be grown commercially in any of those states. Proof of that decline is evident in the numbers of slaves compared to cotton producing states...with one exception. Virginia. Not a major player in the cotton industry, but heavily involved in the domestic slave trade between Southern states.

  • @UnionStatesHeritage Wait a minute. Who's side are you on?

  • @ninjaseatvegies Which 5?

  • if the confederate's won obama would be whipin my ass!!! Go rednecks! Woo guns!

  • Obama is in no position to make moral judgements on slavery considering the people's he's killing and enslaving in the interests of him and his backers.

  • @monoamine1980 Not to mention his dad is Kenyan, so the only slavery he should be fighting more, or at least be more angry - not to say he shouldn't be angry about slavery anywhere, is that occurring in Kenya.

I'm not saying Obama was born in Kenya, but that his roots as far as a black man are from Kenya and not from the roots of slaves in America.

  • Bob Mcdonell is a fucking idiot.

  • I figured out when Obama is lying, he's lying every time he opens his mouth!

  • lol he thinks the civil war was fought over slavery, i laugh in his face.

  • @MELiaraFTW Then tell us what the real reason was

  • @MELiaraFTW yep, he's an idiot...

  • Obama sucks he's the worst president in history.

  • a free black man in the south owned 200 slaves himself and he was black!

  • What about your omission of your life long friend Bob Ayers or your Anti American Pastor of 20 years?

  • fuck you nigger! X(

  • @confederateboy101 stfu you retard stop giving the confederation a bad name

  • @confederateboy101 hey man only a true southerner would know that blacks are great people, once you get out of the cities black people are some of my best friends

  • not gonna plug in to a great depression yea right like were not already there! people walking around with all sorts of shit and passing it.

  • @909luvnit great depression unemployment was 25% we arent even half that right now

  • THIS IS 2012 ! YOUR ASS IS OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE YOU NOT DONE A DAMN THING FOR US !!! WHY DONT YOU TAKE ON H.K. EDGERTON ONE ON ONE , YOU MAY LEARN SOMETHING YOU DIDNT KNOW , GEORGE YOU AN IDIOT AS WELL AS ABC NEWS !

  • Obama and Lincoln are my heros.

  • @PatriotAmerican777 Obama? and Lincoln? that just doesnt make sense... Obama is nothing like him...

  • @Hicktown125 He wasn't comparing them.

  • the civil war was not about slavery and please disregard what the guy under me said, he in no way represents the republican party.

  • FUCK YOU OBAMA!!! YOUR JUST A FUCKING LYING NIGGER!!! WE WILL FUCKING MIX YOUR GODDAM EYEBALLS IN A GODDAM BOWL OF GRAPES N EAT THEM MOTHERFUCKERS N BE HAPPY TO DO IT!!! WER NOT RACSITS MOTHERFUCKER!!! FUCK YOU!!! I AM A PROUD INBRED REBEL REDNECK OF THE SOUTH!!! STOP TALKIN SHIT ABOUT MY PROUD INBRED SOUTH OR WE WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!!!!!DIO VINDICE!!!!!!!! THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LuTheSatanicRacist Hey Moron, the South will never rise. You southern idiots have been saying that BS since the Civil War ended.

  • @LuTheSatanicRacist if you claim to be a redneck... youve said enough... your not a redneck... if you gotta tell me how country you are, then you probably aint hoss....

  • He can't call himself a history buff and not want a Confederate History Month, he said that you have to understand slavery in order to understand the Civil War. Yes you do, no, we can't just ignore the fact that slavery was apart of our history. Ignoring slavery is ignoring history, you can't do it.

  • There should be a confederate history month because there is black history month what makes them have one national black history month and not confederate history month

  • LOL. The confederate flag is simply the battle flag that stuck in southern states. Theres even confederate flags in the north. So stop calling the south so racist, its all about opinion..

  • sparked a firestorm? "im a history buff," he says.

i dont think you can understand the history of the United states unless you undestand slavery! The US as well as almost every western country had slavery, not just THE CONFEDERACY! hypocrits!!!

and who knows but obama may have slave owners in his own ancestry. wouldnt that be ironically funny.

  • hah obama's a bitch

  • Good job being a dumbass as usual obama. Dont talk about us until you know anything about the south.

  • wow obama. check up on your history before you go talking about the south. north was more racist and had the same amount of slaves as the south. Robert E. Lee set his slaves free when the war started. Grant's wife didnt free their slaves till she was forced to in 1865. northerners just pinned all the hate and whatnot on the south and the southern flag. im gonna celebrate Confederate history month if and how i damn well please!

  • ok you black ass ape why is it that during african american histor mounth that they do not talk about how the blacks we have in america that they do not mention how the people in africa stole there own people and sold them into the slave trade for guns duh dont talk shit about how confederate history month if u dont mention youre own history month

  • @dixie00dipper you know it makes it real hard for people to understand we aint racist in the south when you spit out words like "black ass ape".

  • long live the south screw obama

  • @ievilxredneck Long live America screw the government.

  • @davisdayne9

    Fuck ya!

  • The north and south owned slaves. they both also hated slavery. some loved it.

  • of course obama goes straight to slavery in the civiil war, history buff my ass the boy dont know squat

  • The abc guy can't stop smililing ! he's absolutely giddy that his god is right before him ! jeez, pathetic.

  • The president isn't smart enough o understand the civil war himself

  • @Seabright96 STFU you idiot.

  • If we are going to mention slavery in Confederate History Month, then let's get it right, and not forget when Lincoln said, "If I can end the war without freeing the slaves, I will." Or when Grant said that if they were fighting for slavery he was on the wrong side. Let's also remember that the Confederacy had racially integrated units, and even some black officers, whereas the north had segregated all-white or all-black units, and only whites could be officers.

  • @GusTheWriter The CSA fought for the states and their citizens rights to own slaves and to prevent black from ever being the social equal of whites. Look up what each state articulated when they voted to "seceded" to see slavery at the forefront. It's great to have pride for the South, but denial of the CSA's motives and their repugnant use of southern pride to get the poor non slave holders to fights and die for the white rich slave holders should not be repeated.

  • Like this if when he said "Civil War" you thought of The War of Northern Aggression!

  • Our President may be suggesting that only Southerners had slaves. Did he pay attention in School?

  • @sosjp Unfortunately, during the time he would have been in school, the history books taught that slavery was the whole reason for the war.

  • @IVoteForAmerica That doesn't say much for his Acedemia after College, in the real world.

  • @sosjp It says a whole lot about the schools he did attend though!

  • hes such a pussy. Go take another vacation and let us southerners have our holiday! Shoot they have their own damn history month.

  • Read the book

    The South was Right!

  • go to hell, the north wanted the argricultural goods of the south for their own industry, when forien buyers offered more money they started passing laws that affect the souths economy and helped theirs, the south jsut wanted out of the union. the revised history of the victors hides their real reason for war with independent STATES who just wanted out of the union. MOST of the soldiers who served in the south did not own slaves and the north was just as racists as the south at the time.

  • @howler505 you have no idea how much i agree with you right now bro

  • @howler505 hell yah man but in the north they teach that it was PURE SLAVERY AND RACISM but its not as u said shit i live in central florida in a town with 1 stop light and only 1 road but it seems that the small towns are better informed than the big cities

  • Every American should understand the history of the Southern War for Independence (It was only a Civil War, because we lost...but really it shouldn't be called a civil war, because we fought for independence, not control over the USA..was the Revolutionary War a "civil war", too?) I'm a proud Tennessean and love the South..free country or a loyal part of the USA

  • some one should shove a history book down his throught and see if he understands history that way!

  • and please, dont be the retarded prick who has nothing better to criticize me over a misspelled word or some other grammatical error.

  • Lets talk about Lincolns 1858 debate where he said the place of racial superiority is with the white man. Lets talk about Lincolns New York Times letter to Horace Greely where he said he'd "preserve the union without freeing any slaves ...or freeing some and leaving others slave". Lets talk about the thousands of blacks that drew confederate pensions after the war.Lets talk about the Slave Narratives when the majority of previous slaves spoke kindly of their masters...lets talk Obama!

  • And lets talk about when Lincoln pronounced his faux " emancipation proclamation " that free blacks in New York City were hanged in the streets because northerners blamed them for their sons dying in the war. Lets talk about the ' Jim Crow ' laws that were enacted by Notherners during reconstruction and somehow Southerners get the blame and bad rap for being racist and hate-filled. Lets talk about the underground railroad going to Canada because "free soilers" in north didnt want them.

  • Sure we should mention slavery when we talk about the civil war...lets talk about how every State on the east coast had slavery at one point and how Northerners sold their slaves to the south when industrialism took a strong foothold in the north and blacks were then seen as no more than a burden and potential job thieves from the european immigrants pouring in who expected jobs galore. Thats right, northerners profited from slavery, they just didnt free them all.

  • @gf4rce #THANK GOD THE SOUTH FELL SO MANY PPPL WOULD HAVE BEEN SLAVES TILL THIS DAY THANK GOD xD

  • @finalfrontier001 Don't believe everything that the history books tell you. They deliberately leave out many "forgotten" details of the past in order to shape public opinion of today. Perfect example, when Clinton was still in office, our history books had pages, chapters, practically volumes on him, but nary a paragraph or two for other IMPORTANT historical figures. AND HE WAS STILL IN OFFICE MIND YOU! It wasn't even history yet.

  • @finalfrontier001 Hopefully people will come to understand that being widely accepted does not make it accurate. I don't know the whole story of the past, but be sure that someone, somewhere is leaving part of the story out. And you have to wonder why...

  • Really? All of you; including the President need to read way more History, and not the slop that they teach in schools. I realize everyone doesn't have time to research, but basic players of the civil war have autobiography's and they are very clear that the war was not about Slavery. Read all the HISTORY! F' ing sheep.

  • @IVoteForAmerica

xD who are you when the best scholors say so HWAT DO YOU KNOW

  • @finalfrontier001 I'm not a fucking sheep, that's who I am. The best scholars read history books written by the winner of the war. If you can't do your own research then I'm sorry for you. Northern slaves were not free'd by the emaciation proclamation, now tell me again how the south are all a bunch of racist people. Slavery was a terrible institution, but we aren't the only country who had slavery. Hell anybody should be able to find the same information I have. I KNOW MORE THAN YOU!

  • The winners of war write the history.

  • Most people didn't know that states such as Maryland, New Jersey, and Virgina (which was actually divided in half on the issue of Secession) all had some of the highest number of slaves. States like Georgia and the Carolina's had some of the lowest counts and that is a fact.

  • Lincoln was a tyrant.

  • the civil war was about states rights. The no.1 right they were fighting over was the right to own slaves. hence the war was about slavery. Also why would lincoln write the emancipation proclamation if the war was not about slavery?

  • @clayj17 "If I thought this war was over slavery, I would resign my commission and offer my sword to the other side." US Grant

The emancipation proclamation was written to prevent the British from entering the war on the southern side. The proclamation didn't free any slaves in the Northern States and the Southern States that were occupied by Northern Forces. The exemptions were written into the proclamation. Grant didn't free his slaves until the 13th amendment.

  • "This war is not about slavery"- Robert E. Lee

  • The confederate flag was not meant to be a racist symbol that people portray it to be. Slavery was wrong BUT look at history, there were always slaves and even in the bible. More whites were slaves then any other race. For those who use OUR flag to promote racism only hurt what it really stands for and that is Southern Pride. Whether your black asian white or whatever, it is a pride thing. For those Yankees who say its a racist flag or take offense to it read up on the history of the flag

  • I DON'T EXPECT A KENYAN MAU-MAU SUPPORTER TO UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE SAINT ANDREW'S CROSS FLAG.

FREEDOM FROM FEDERAL TYRANNY, THE RIGHT OF A PEOPLE TO DECIDE THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT , THE RIGH OUR FOUNDING FATHERS UNDERSTOOD WHEN THEY SECEDED FROM BRITAIN - SUCH CONCEPTS ARE ALIEN TO BIG-GOVERNMENT STATISTS.

  • Well always remember OBAMAs ancestors in Africa may have had connections to the tribes who sold us those slaves. Also the if you notice most Klaner use the American flag. Notice the camera angles when the Klaners are using the American Flags as opposed to the Confederate Flag they usually blot or focus in on the speaker when the US Flag is present and then when a CSA flag comes about they start panning normal angles If you dont believe me just look some time

  • u no what i find funney the flag stood for the csa army and it was not used by citicons.it's also funney that the souths army took better cair of the blacks (in there army) than the north did whith theres YA THATS RIGHT BLACKS FOUGHT FOR THE CONFEDERATS

  • @hogensmigt That's true it also wasn't nothing to do with race but so many rednecks make it a race thing. They say heritage not hate. But then says white power hang them, well you get the point. ANd alot of people don't know the history of the flag either

  • @ManicPoetRyRy there are more rednecks waving the US Military Flag than than the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. There are more white supremacist in Ohio and Michigan than in the South. You need to do a little research yourself.

  • @ManicPoetRyRy

I FIND IT DISGUSTING THAT RACISTS CHOSE TO WAVE OUR FLAG , I REALLY WISH THEY'D WAVE THE YANKEE FLAG, THE REAL FLAG OF RACISM

  • @MrForextrader123 War wasn't bout slavery and the North did own as many slaves as the south. Yet a lot of racist groups use the flag which gives it that racist feel. What pisses my off about it is when people have no idea about the history of the flag talk bout it. And make it a slavery symbol or a symbol of southern pride(It is but you still should know the history of it if you support it) IMS

  • I stopped watching when obama said "Im pretty confident that were not going to plunge into a great depression"

  • It's also unacceptable that Lincoln's racist quotes are omitted from the US history books, but ya know. I am against the Confederacy too, but for real reasons, not made up ones.

  • Fuck you, ABC News, and fuck your so-called journalist who's obviously so enamored by this assclown that he's practically salivating at the prospect of sucking some presidential cock today. And fuck Obama for being a worthless piece of shit that spent his whole term focusing on every little insignificant thing but actually putting people back to work and getting our clusterfuck of an economy sorted out (among his many other fuck-ups as a President).

  • if it was just a Confederate thing, maybe i could understand a bit more. But almost EVERY nation in the W hemisphere had slaves. 5 'yankee' states had slaves! but all anyone wants to remember about the Confederacy is slavery? every one of the 13 colonies had slaves as well, and only 4 of the 13 were Southern. HYPOCRITS!!

  • I don't even know why I'm watching something with Obama in it ; I don't like him & I don't agree with him .

  • hes just pissed cause has a nigger bitch....like if you think black history month is racist towards everyone else

  • Why should it matter, the war had nothing to do with slavery anyway. Only the north made it an issue, If the the war was about slavery, then the proposed 10th amendment during that time by lincoln was to make slavery permenant, if the south would just not fight, so why fire a bullet, just let lincoln sign that amendment. so it makes no sense to even say that the war was about the south wanting to keep slavery... dont be stupid people learn history......

  • @wgmedlin actually it was quite influenced by slavery because of property rights (black equaled property) as well as sanctions against the south concerning cotton...which the south relied heavily on economically.

It was a significant contribution to the civil war...

  • the south wanted to being nobility to the shores of the united states. Big plantations and states that would govern themselves. The south knew slavery would not last. No one in the Civil war fought for the slaves in the confederacy.

  • obamas a clown, im from virginia and i fully embrace confederate history month. good for us, fuck obama

  • The Civil War was not only about slavery, it was that the south had social and economical differences, you also can use the black history month to learn about slavery, dont dedicate 2 months for the same purpose, use it to show the other reasons for the civil war

  • Stabilized the financial system!? WTF lie after lie

  • The Civil War wasnt about Slavery, why wont anyone realize that?

  • @generaltodd2 Because it is part of the propaganda to marginalize traditional people, and Christians in particular, especially those in the US South. It is part of a plan & part of academia to link the South & its reason for secession with slavery as THE cause of the war though its obvious Constitution protected slavery as class of labor, and South was breaking no laws. Lincoln supported the Corwin Amendment legalizing slavery forever, colonization to deport freed slaves to Liberia

  • Ironically, President Obama is of the same bloodline (through his mother) of CSA president Jefferson Davis. Patriotism must skip a generation I guess.

  • Obama is a Manchurian Canidate and just over 50% of Americans drank the Kool-Aid and voted for him. He doesn't give a rat's ass about black people. His god is Mammon. It's been reported that Obama/Soetero/Dunham, with multiple SS#'s, was paid millions of dollars to destroy America so that we could become a Communist state. Statist all hate what The Confederacy stood for, FREEDOM!

  • most people dont know the truth about how racist the yankees were and how they treated slaves compared to dixie. The war was not over slavery, it was a cause, but if the south surrendered slavery would not have been fooled with

  • "If I thought this war was over slavery, I would resign my commission and offer my sword to the other side" U.S. Grant

  • @brainerdrebel Kudos, most also dont know that Grant and his wife did not free their slaves until the 13th amendment, but lee had long freed his slaves

  • hello issaquan5, please read the book called..."The Real Lincoln" by professor thomas di lorenzo it will blow your mind! Lincoln censored and imprisoned many northerners because they(newpapermen and editors) from the North didn't go along with Lincoln's war agenda, and Lincoln also placed the entire state of Maryland under martial law. I think i now know why John Wilkes Booth assasinated him.

  • Comment removed

  • what's abraham got to do with this issue? Lincoln and the Northern politicians were making money from the slave trade. the slave ships were built in New York City, read the book "Complicity" How the North promoted , prolonged, and profited from slavery. Jefferson Davis would have ended slavery, because the southern whites were outnumbered in the jobs market from too many black slaves picking cotton and tobacco.

  • @faceinspaceYeah, new england imported slaves for a good paycheck but that ended long b4 the civil war, even before the NUllification crisis. Not to say that smuggling wasn't going on though in the north, south and everywhere else.

  • @urmommaisfattt When the constitution was drafted, there were several limitations on how states could enter the union, but nothing about whether or not they could forfeit their statehood. The 10th amendment leaves powers not mentioned in the constitution to be determined by the individual state, so secession was a legal act. Starting a war against states in rebellion was unconstitutional.

  • and here;s another thing....it was England who forcibly removed Africans from Africa, because the English didn't want to pick cotton or tobacco in the American south! Why you ask? Because it 's too much hard work! that's why!!. and because they (England) introduced slavery to america, (the English) are indirectly reponsible for the American Civil War. Obama, and all other past presidents know this, but won't admit it!!!

  • obama didn't want to say that lincoln was a tyrant who wanted to invade the south because the south knew that lincoln was abusing executive powers, which the founding fathers didn't want to happen ....obama ..just another hypocrite!! read your history!!
