i don't want to see this great, infectious tune bastardized as a mere jingle. it's too good for that. i loved level 42, culture club, and duran duran, but go west stands out head and shoulders above for me. it's peter cox. he's just so damned earnest when he sings. he truly wins me over with his fabulous voice. it's so soulful. truth be told, he could sing a telephone jingle and i would fall in love with that too...the music, it just wraps itself around you and takes hold of your soul.

@petercox9 Peter Cox and to be fair Richard Drummie are extremely underated. Peter has a very powerful voice and i can only thing of a handful of singers in the UK who are as good as him. Drummie is an amazing musician who has collaborated with many other artists. THe sum of the band is simple. Some see it as fluffy power pop, but Go West were and still are a band who can really delivery tour de force performances. I saw them at Butlins and wondered why arent they back in the charts?
