Hey Marty, good to see you talking about the harp. I know that the "up four letters" thing is called cross-harp but would you explain why you move up the scale to play inn cross-harp fashion? Do you ever use your tongue to control the notes? Thanks, the harp was the way I first started with the blues. You can't help but be drawn into guitar from there.

I got a hoehner blues harp in C for christmas... #4 went dead soon as I got interested than returned it and they only had a blues A harp and 6 and 7 were dead. Im willing ti drop 200 bucks on a decent one any insight to why those sucked and a brand I could trust?

Hey Marty, cool video, I think you should do some more, just started playin the harp myself. Good tip for knowin the crossharp key is take the key of the song. G for example. relate that to the guitar. G note low E string 3rd fret go down a string on the 3rd fret & voila C there is your cross harp key works with all notes, I just find it easier then counting. Keep em comin

I would totally buy a dvd teaching harmonica basics! I got a harmonica for xmas and i think it sounds so cool. Especially with a guitar. But the thing is i have no idea what to do with it and cant figure out the notes coming out of it! 3rd hole is the root in every harmonica? Its in Am so it would go well with a Dm progression, right?
