shrimp,shellfish,pellets,it eats everything,. but these fish dont live in freshwater long and will quiqly die if they stays in freshwater for long,. if you cant provide true tropical sea water you should not keep it,. best thing to do then is go back to the store wih it and get a freeshwater eel in stead

morray eels yawn all the time,they squeses water trough theyr gills to get more oxygene and clean theyr gills for small particles and parasites,.
very cool fish,. just bought one my self 1 month ago,it eats alot!
