As a person who had the opportunity, as a child, to meet President Truman, and in later years studied his record as President, I could only wish in 2008 we had a common man with good common sense that was running for President.
Only realized his fortitude and strength after he left Office.
Later on, he realized some of the left's irrational views and came to understand that the Government back when he was in Office had serious internal problems.
