What sucks about the SNES version it only has one beat em up level while the rest of the game are just riding/racing levels although NES version seemed to balance the beat'em up/racing in between but their still hard as fuck games. Although the Arcade version of the games should have been since racing actually ruined the game.

I remember getting so mad at this game back in 1995 after trying like 200 times to get past that damn bike part in level 3 I took a hammer and just smashed the living hell out of the cartridge. My mom saw how frustrating it was and said she wasn't at all surprised when she found out I broke it.

When we think about it, only first two and last two levels are beat-em-up, 80% of the game is about puzzle and reflexes. Kinda lame for a ''Battle'' Toads game... Prefer by far the arcade version which is pure beat-em-up.

Ok, someone's got to say it. That was one of the LAMEST end boss fights I've ever seen. You're telling me that getting to her is that freaking hard and she's that simple to take down? No second form? Just one cheesy projectile attack and some Navi flying? Shredder had multiple attacks and a super form. Hell, Machine Gun Willy would at least hit you with his gun! RARE seemed to drop the ball with the end boss fights in all of the Toad games.

You gotta time your attacks perfectly when you jump to hit her on those ledges and when she's on the ground you don't know if she's going to throw the projectile down at a diagonal or straight forward. You gotta keep your distance and still manage to get a hit in. It took me many playthroughs just to master that battle.

A 3D game of this would suck balls, however a Flash game with similar graphics, trickier levels, tons of hard-hitting anvil-punching toad fists, and a wicked storyline would make it a fucking hit!

Also, make the Dark Queen final battle something actually challenging!! I expected her to do something more than...shoot energy that misses half the time and teleport around the unfitting environment.
