Morte was possibly one of the worst characters I'd ever seen in a JRPG. Good thing that Taupy kicked loads of ass and came shortly after her. Morte was just god AWFUL, and annoying.

@Gamechild951 yep i have to agree though she's not the worst character by far for jrpg characters though, i know i've played tons.. Taupy voice sucks in the game though and anime morte is badass so if i had to say just watch the anime its better.

Morte is still a scrub in my book. And its good that the game made her the worst party member too. I would have shat myself if I had to honestly keep her in.

@wirelessjt Her base strength may be the highest, but her Flurry Combos don't go past 10, and unlike Naja, her Power Attacks don't compensate. Magic is nigh useless throughout the game cept' for healing spells and buffs. Unfortunately, she also has buffs that only apply to herself, whereas Taupy and Rhia had full group buffs. Rhia is almost a GameBreaker. Naja's buffs are too, plus he's got the most fluent combo and good attack. Taupy, I just like him and his revive spells. That game sucked. Sad

@wirelessjt She's got high attack, but the accuracy stinks. Flurries also benefit awesomely from the power boost and combo links. A single hit from Taupy, 12 hits, and his initial basic combo can cause knockup. Her's only armor breaks, and so few enemies block. So when any character can get the ob done and has more variety of better spells in their belt, its a matter of who is a better asset. In that case, Rhia's large combos will net the team a helluva lot of Skill Points. Stats. Fuck Morte...

@Gamechild951 that's all you really wanted to say isn't it that she sucks lol. Truth be told she does suck actually she's crap but you missed the point that near the middle end she's stronger than everyone which doesn't really matter about accuracy cause nothing will be surviving 1 or 2 of her hits that anyone else would make. Sure everyone else is better than her but you can't deny that end game she the best, if you used her end game you'd know what i was talking about ;).

i love RPG's but this game is a mess. The battle system feels like it was half completed and not fully realised and its waaaaaay too slow. The music is amazing though. What a waste on this game.

The battle system actually proves to be really good if you no how to use it right. Also I don't understand what you mean by way to slow? The game's speed was perfectly fine to me.

It seems to me that they tried to capture the Xenogears feel with this game's battle system. It has tons of potential, it just needs tweaking in a few areas. I hope there's a sequel.

You can't go wrong with Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger/Xenogears) composing the music.

Does the customization get more extensive later? because I personally like more customization then whats offered, i already maxed out a few skills on my characters and sense there are only 3 of each kind of attack that doesn't leave me much more to improve and im only like 4 hours in... do you get more stuff to use? i already unlocked everything possible atm hoping there is more later on

I like the battles, but they were just too broken.

The music isn't bad, infact I like the music that shows on the map, the place where you have to pick your locatioins and stuff. The story was medicore. The only character I liked was Taupy and Rhia (Because she's a loli....with guns!).

I only wished they developed the characters more. I mean, Morte has no personality at all. I know a DS can only handle so many things, but....

if you're saying the gameplay is crap as in the battling then you're wrong because...

1. Enemy encounter rates aren't as high as people say

2. Battling is probably the best part of the game

3. Story is good and the voice acting is decent

When people say this game is horrible(not talking about you popoi108) then they obviously have something wrong with themselves. Because i found this game to be very good.

@Popoi108 the gameplay starts slow as hell but I promise it gets A LOT better if you keep playing it (I played two hours, let it rest for 4 or 5 days, and continued, and then bit by bit the real battles started, never something "omgdisisawesome"but its good

it's like the party-swapping thing...

you have 6 characters and all but you can only use three during battle

by using combinatorics here are the possible number of party combinations

1(Kyrie) x 5(any of the remaining 5) x 4 (any of the remaining) = 20 party combination and youre always stuck with kyrie

They probably used an Emulator on their computer rather than using an actual DS. By using an emulator, the screens are automatically touching perfectly and can be easily recorded.

I was thinking that, but I wonder which one? The audio is just perfect and clear. Same for the other one I saw. Ones I tried were choppy/stuttering audio.

I don't use roms that much, when at the computer, am too busy listening to music and working on stuff....but would be nice to test out games to see if they are worth buying.I hate buying a game that ends up stinking. :P

I also rent games via the mail too, and found a few games I ended up buying cause they were fun to play.
