My daugheter was in the care of Dr. Ivan Cheng at LPCH. After an MRI revealed that it was not Idiopathic Scoliosis she was diagnosed with Chiari 1 Malformation and Neurogenic Scoliosis. She was immediately referred to the Pediatric Neurosurgery Department. Within 3 weeks she had an appointment to see Dr. Edwards and 2 weeks later she had the surgery to correct her condition. She is now home recovering nicely. Our experience with Dr. Edwards, his team, and LPCH has been a true blessing.
He has been my brain surgeon since I was 9! Dr. Edwards is the best doctor in the world! He cares to much about his patients! awe! This year I go back and see him! He saved my life twice! He has a heart of Gold and has been like a father to me! Congrats on your recovery!
