  • Gee guys!, NICELY done!!!! :)))

  • ha ha, you came and repaired my house today. Thanks for showin me the website, i'm considering buying some of your models you got

  • Beautiful job and great flight. What size are the motors and how come only 5 of eight worked at the end?

  • @koxiesarmy It's the differential steering feature. The 3 outboard motors work with the inboard most motor on the other wing with the rudder (steering) channel. By decreasing thrust on the water on one wing, it makes it easier to turn into that direction. Otherwise, the water steering is very cumbersome, especially in the wind, because the plane wants to "weathervane" into the wind. Not necessary on land due to friction of the tires against the pavement- but VERY helpful on water.

  • i wish i had a plane like that

  • awesome.

  • What's the setup on that? What motors? What batteries does it take (cells, mah)? Does it have a special rudder under the belly for water control? Absolutely gorgeous! I'm working on a scratchbuild 96 inches in span.

  • very nice

  • Nice..!!!

  • cool !!!

  • I always imagine the visual depth of field would make it easy to crash one of these.

  • i WANT ONE WHERE CAN I GET PLANS OR WHERE CAN I BUY ONE AT? GREAT PLANE BY THE WAY AND NICE FLYING TOO

  • what's it made of?

  • Howard Hughes is vindicated again.

  • great 'touch and go' on the water. must be really difficult to land. . excellent job! beautiful build.

  • Just beautiful! Thanks for posting. Any info abt. weight, motors & batteries?

  • That is so cool. awesome job building this.

  • where was this filmed at? .... looks like WA state! Cool plane

  • the flying was off Whiskeytown lake, just west of Redding, CA.

  • Tres belle realisation, essaye de voler moins vite , le realisme sera parfait .Bravo . Martinpecheur 24

  • Just a beautiful setting to fly. COnsider yourself lucky! Great landing on the last one.

  • It has 100 inch wingspan, or 2.54 Meter span. In the event that the motor battery gets low or dies, it can be glided safely to the surface without damage. If the radio control power dies, yes, the plane will fall when it runs out of motor power or crash.

  • Why? It hasn't stopped me :) I'm in my 30's and managed to design and build it...stop watching TV and you'll find the time to get involved!

  • No, the flying was off Whiskeytown lake, just west of Redding, CA.

  • Very nice flying. You have a great flying site. Kevin.

  • Wonderful. If only the real Hercules could have flown this long and performed like this. Great job!

  • WOW.......... That's so COOL... what a great looking plane, LOVE the water shoots. outstanding JOB!.
