I am reasonably sure this is San Francisco, judging by all the electrical muni lines in the air and by a few of the buildings I can recognize. Also, there's a shot where he's on a waterfront, and at 1:13 you can see him ride up a relatively steep road, both hallmarks of sf. They do a pretty good job of avoiding landmarks though
Wow! This song is so full of butterflies and suggestion. It feeds the imagination. The video should be taught in a film school editing class. Amazing. Just discovered this band from the suggestions for a Fiery Furnace vid.
I know this has nothing to do with this video so forgive me. You are good people with excellent taste in music, therefor you are smart and deserve to know what is being done to you. I recommend watching: money as debt, freedom to fascism, ring of power, behold a pale horse, esoteric agenda, Jim Marrs the 4th reich, Graham Hancock - Quest for the Lost Civilization, The Celestine Prophecy, 911 b4 911- The Lone Gunmen, Think Free : Bursting Bubbles of Gov, ALEX COLLIER at the Camelot
i took your advice and started watching freedom to fascism in another window, while tortoise was still playing in this window, and they mixed up nicely!!! thanks. i will check out everything on your list
wow, suena genial, esa guitarra octaveada es la mamada, y el baterista de sea & cake toca de poca, con sus influencias de jazz, sin palabras con la rola.
Lol, totally. Check out The Advantage on here if you want to hear some cool live reproductions of classic video game music, like, Castlevania, or Megaman. Pretty kick ass stuff, and then check out Hella. It's the drummer's other band.
This video singlehandedly has inspired me to get out in to the city and take photos. Hopefully I can find things approaching the beauty they show here.
Wow! Love Tortoise and loving all the Bay Area imagery used in this video. SFO (esp. the parking elevator w/ Helvetica 9!), the Cathedral, the Pyramid, the Berkeley Marina, the MUNI lines, the BART "bubbles", the Broadway Tunnel (maybe?), the Embarcadero Buildings, One Maritime, the new De Young and the concrete sculpture out in the garden, the tunnel by the Conservatory of Flowers even? Excellent!
the new album is just as good as the rest. i never understood why i loved these guys that much until i saw this vid. now i see that they and the people they work with try to see the surrounding environment in different ways just like architects do.
