My Grandparents took me to Porthmadog on holiday and I fell in love with the place and the surrounding villages. I swore I'd get myself a place there and they could visit all the time. My Grandfather passed away in January, so this video (filmed in Porthmadog) brings a tear to my eye...but makes me smile too, remembering the times we had there.

It a good music video but im surprised it wasnt filmed in Rock Ferry which is near liverpool. Instead it was filmed in and around Porthmadog in north wales. Im glad the cambrian coast line and the festioniog railway were featured

"Sluts" is kind of a crass way to put it, but I think the idea that they are selling sex just as much as music is true. It is, in part, their lyrics and, in part, their style and dress.
On the talent argument, I do wholeheartedly think that those girls do have musical talent. It is just more focused on ability to write and/or deliver a good hook. Overall, there is music for everyone. Those women don't write songs for me.

so u make your decision - adverts on videos which most of the time last only 30 seconds and watch youtube free OR having to pay $5 or more to watch videos....

This is maybe the only really GOOD singer in 2000's, I mean this is like real music, not as fake like justin bieber's music is. And she has some talent, which none of todays other singers have. AND, these songs have good words and brilliant notes, their not like just random computer made effects like other todays crappy artists have. This reminds me old golden times of music.

@solidpotato What I am saying is Duffy sings with soul but she isn't soul-there is a difference.
For example Pavarotti performed with soul,Meatloaf put his soul into his music as does Eminem but none are "soul" artists.
Duffy has done some soul songs on her new album the song Girl is the most soul song on there in style.
I said to someone earlier a lot of soul music {not always} has church organs to give a genuine soul feel to a song can you name me one Duffy song which does? ctd.....

Ray Charles's song "What'd I say" is a classic example of this even the title is asking a question.
Duffy is a natural ballad singer..which she sings "with soul."

That vibrato of hers in some of her songs drives me nuts...it's like the famous nails on a blackboard. Very overrated singer, who tries to sound different with a poor imitation of Da(u)ffy Duck.

only thing i don't like about her videos is in the song she's belting out these impressive notes with raw feeling, and in the video you see her sitting on a bench just kinda mumbling them under he breath...
I wish I could see the same power and enthusiasm she sings with represented visually, it would make the whole experience far more impressive. 2:39
