What a wonderful song!! I've cried when I listened to this anthem for the first time!
It makes me proud to be your Italian brother, because I think Italians and Romanians are brothers, as they both descent from the glorious Roman Empire.
De ce oare statele trebuie să aibă în majoritatea cazurilor imnuri belicoase, îndreptate spre trecut și uneori chiar cu derive teocfratice incompatibile cu progresele înregistrate de evoluția mentalităților iar regiunile au în multe cazuri imnuri tolerante și pacifiste ?Poate că și statele naționale își vor shimba treptat mentalitățile. Cred că și România ar trebui să aibă un imn pacifist și tolerant și fără derive teocratice de tipul Imnului Quebeque-ului “Gens du Pays” (merită ascultat)
Ne-au fost lasate ca PILDE: Burebista, Decebal, Brancoveanu, Mircea cel Batran, Mihai Viteazul, Dimitrie Cantemir, Mihai Eminescu, Corneliu Zelea Codreanu si lista poate continua incat as putea umple multe commenturi. Unii s-au remarcat prin vitejie, altii prin credinta, inteligenta, patriotism sau toate la un loc. Nu e nevoie decat sa privim in urma, dar sa privim in spiritul Adevarului, pentru a ne destepta si a primi taria necesara de a ne impotrivi cotropitorilor tarii, vazuti sau nevazuti.

Please, not all is our fault, you are also threating bad some hungarians and of course there are some that want the independence of Erdély, like some other romanians want the independence of Banat, but it's not our fault. It's also unfortunate that some Romanians are trying to erradicate the székely culture, they are living here too, and they don't like to lose their own culture.Isn't this unfortunately?
@333interr the hungarian minority has enormous rights to preserve it's traditions,culture,language......they have more rights than the romanian majority...and NOBODY eradicates they're culture...in romania there are 400 official szekelys....how is that?...they are hungarians...not szekely's...the hungarians must understand that the Romanian National Unitary State as it is in the Constitution will forever be and no refferendum will give separatist rights to any minority...

I see so many heroic attributes in our national anthem, but I don`t see anything like that on the streets of Romania. I weep for them. I weep for the many.
