Saying the words "God Damn" is actually taking God Almighty's name in vein. Look at it this way. If your name is Chris, would you like it if some one were to say "Chris Damn it" ? Would you be angry with that person that you would want to punch their lights out? Well that is getting God Almighty all kinds of pissed off but he is restraining him self from striking every one down because the guy has some serious anger management skills. Which is one of the reasons that I can think of.
