This is a rare look at a legendary vocal group during the swing & Big Band era. The woman vocalist should be Arlene 'Babs' Johnson. She matches the photo on the cover of the sheet music for 'Playmates' released in 1940.
Researchers: The trio performed on the 'Time To Shine' radio show with the Hal Kemp Orchestra. Alrene is reported to have married Del Sandberg in 1940 and later had 3 children & she is on most of the Bluebird releases.
