Just a heads up for next time, and don't take this the wrong way, but if you put your microphone on a different surface then the keyboard you will be able to hear the sounds of the keys better because you won't hear the vibrations from you striking the keyboard.
LOL, at people that complain at the noise. Love the sound from your nice microphone.
How does this compare with the Unicomp (newly made Model M) ? I want to buy a good keyboard but only have experience with the classic Model M from school.
@LeisureCentury It doesn't sound like this in real life. With the mic he has set up, all you can here is booming. The sound of the switches are much more relaxing in reality.
I got the one with lettering but I think I'm going to order the blank keys cause I like the look of them, and I don't even look at the keys anyway to type.
@mopetenreiter123 the das keyboards have a very poor controller inside of them, which can slow down typing speeds and can cause you to miss letters even though you hit the keys. Go for a filco instead (or even a scorpius M10 if you're short on money). Hope this helps. :)
I wouldn't recommend MX blue for gaming, unless you play rhythm games (such as djmax), as they would put a strain on your hands if you're just pressing WASD. MX Black would be more suitable.
how do you like yours? I might sell mine too =[ I'm too addicted to the pro 2. BTW, what's that red key labeled as on your delete key? Is that the Filco red key?
Are you talking about the Matias Tactile Pro 2? I have a Filco (this exact keyboard), but I also want to try out other switches–to find the "best" one for me. Looking at getting the Unicomp Customizer 104 (buckling springs), and the latest Matias (white Alps).
Did you find it necessary to buy the wasd and extra red key? Personally I think they could have made the wasd a different color and get rid of the vista bubbles. Also the extra keysets are quite expensive, surprisingly.

I watch this video like 5 times a day while I wait for my own filco to arrive (straight from Diatec Japan).
This might be the last time that I watch it. Mine should arrive today.
Thanks for helping me through the wait.

hey i wanna buy an "das keyboard" with same blue mx switches. Are the blue switches recommended for gaming, too?
