I live in United States and it cost me about $5 a week too feed 100 birds.

They are trained not to fly together birds that continue to fly together are culled out and birds that fly less than 8 hours are eventually culled also

well , here how i did it we had a very big huse in north of tehran and this is some 23 years ago and me and two of my brothers would take tuns to feed and clean up and keep eyes on the sick ones we use to sell them to pay for their feed and had a great time flying .

them and we would go thrugh hell to get them back in the cages so sometimes in order for you to have good control on them we would have to have them hungry and then where ever you would trow the feed that would be the place wher you would want them but at the end they were well fed

The name dove and pigeon is nearly interchangeable. They are common names for all birds in the family Columbidae. The bird you described is Columba livia. Commons names include Rock dove, Rock pigeon, and Feral pigeon. Feral is a misnomer because domestic pigeons are actually derived from wild stocks in Europe, N Africa, and W Asia, then later introduced into the Americas as feral.
