I think the term 'tool' could also be used in that sense, as in someone who lacks the mental faculty to decide by himself what he likes or dislikes and chooses an arbitrary characteristic based on a stupid cultural trend that has no meaning whatsoever. A pretentious prick would imply the person actually has the mental faculty but is simply being an asshat for the sake of it.
I REMEMBER HEARING THIS FIRST BECAUSE OF A BUDDYHEAD REVIEW BACK IN 01 OR SO, IT SAID "FOR FANS OF AT THE DRIVE IN AND DAVE MATTHEWS BAND"??? IT BLEW MY MIND BACK THEN, STILL DOES
2:22 is such an awesome chorus. This whole song is really good, I can't believe I never checked this band out before, let alone really heard about them. The lyrics are really good too.
I caught the Plan on their last tour in chicago... it was the first and only time i got to see them live and holy hell was it an awesome show... made even better by some fine ass hawaiian girl next to me the whole time... that show and the whole chicago trip was shenanigans... I havent had fun like that in years :/
@Vanpants I wouldn't say that. In fact, I give it at most another 5 years to a decade before they reunite, it seems to be a popular move among critically acclaimed indie bands

The only thing i like about this album is that it convinced me once and for all that pitchfork sucks.

@boogiepop14mc I agree. Pitchfork has gotten way too mainstream.

If your musical taste is based on how mainstream or not it is, just makes you a fucking stupid tool.
