@eulex10 well just as the most prominent example, the nazis would have spread their crap (racism, antisemitism, homophobia, and so on..) all over the world. I also seriously doubt that they would have been able to run a worldwide economy. (Of course, this refers to all the axis powers, but since I'm german I like disliking nazis...)
@eulex10 More importantly though: Why do you even consider a world without constituted human rights, with a government that can do pretty much anything they want with you, to be better? You do know about the holocaust, don't you?
@eulex10 nobody thinks democracies are perfect. in fact they are far from it, BUT: democracy is in fact the least flawed system, since it is the only system where the government is accountable to the people. granted, depending on the specific system the actual direct influence of the public is more or less restricted to elections (and sometimes public ballots) but it is at least existent.
whereas in fascism, communism (the possible form, not the utopian..), monarchies, or any kind of oligocracy, the public has no say in anything. I would rather have the possibility to replace a bad government by voting for other politicians, than just hoping that the government won't get any worse...

Aber viele ausländer oder Leute die einfach nur anders waren (z.b behinderte) wurden auch getötet.
