Getting involved is like walking into a hurricane. The majority of people in the world are steadfast in what they believe and how they will behave and absolutely nothing will change this. As Gandhi once said, be the change you want to see in the world. To a degree, you can influence things but, if people are not ready for change, they will rebel, it will create more problems. Change has to grow, it cannot be forced and I think people have this misconception early on that they can do anything.
