  • R.I.P Jess xoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoo

  • Aright; sorry to hear that.... But all that sass ank wanted............. thanks

  • This was her last vid were it was early at 5:10am 6th feb 2008 before boomer went bolting over the fence then crushing poor Jessica's scull open and braking her neck :'( R.I.P

  • Try releasing and halting immediately after the jump! (just giving some input that may help)

  • @bermyguy213 , she isnt with us anymore :'( r.i.p Jess

  • @bermyguy213 shes dead smart one.

  • every year on her birthday i search the new videos her friends make for her. It never fails to cry, i didnt know her, but god she was an amazing rider. Bless that girl!

  • I just read the blog on myspace.. It scares me cause during the accident she does the same habits as i do. . It really gives me goosebumps thinking about jumping sunny again... R.I.P Jessica. ):

  • I think that tragedy would have been avoided if people had just taken the time to train him right, and to not bolt after jumps. It's terrible. :(

  • She seemed like a great rider. I never knew her, but she she seemed like a great person. She could've grown up to be something big, but God had other plans. RIP Jessica...

  • its so scary when they do that, she was so brave. rip jessica

  • Okay yall, stop fighting it dont matter if your right or wrong, I dont think jessica would like yall to keep fighting on her page. Thanks

  • This is how Jess really died Answer:

Here is the story from Jess' parents::

February 6, 2008: Jessica had a minimum day at school and got out at 12:15 because of back to school night. She wanted to go spend time with Boomer, so Craig took her to Shandoni at about 2:00. She had emailed Jay (he is Doreen's husband who loved Jessica, she thought of him like a grandfather and good friend) the night before to see if she could come, he said "sure," that he would be home. When they arrived Jay was tri

  • No one knows exactly how she died but we are almost positive she was alone so there was no witness but there were 6 videos that gave a lot of evadince

  • Her accident was 2008!! exactly...! this was posted 2007 because she was riding then.... if you look at the uploader it states "JessBoomer" common sense...? even thought riding bareback looks good, I see why it is unsafe to ride bareback! maybe if she had the saddle on then she may have had more control? Its just a thought? Iv been looking at so many young girls riding with no helmet or saddle, it looks fun but maybe they should all look at what could happen..? afterall a horse is a animal :-(

  • Her accident was in february 2008 and this was posted in 2007..

  • This was just before her accident :(

  • @xOxhorselover98xOx Um, no it wasn't.. how could she have posted the video? And there are a few posted after this one. This is just the similar situation to how her accident happened.

  • @ridexonxstars Someone said that later that day she had her accident ? :LL

  • @xOxhorselover98xOx How could she have posted this video, then? Common sense.

  • @ridexonxstars I was talking about someone else RIP JESSICA <3

  • She needs to control him! I know she tried but not good enough. She needed to collect his head and calm him down and if he rushed just pull back hard and hurt him if necessary. Horses can be jerks, and they'll keep doing the same thing if you don't stop it as soon as possible. And if she couldn't handle him, then she needed to sell him because if you can't handle your horse you're gonna get hurt like she did. Blame is on her and her family

  • @rider2298 Wow, you're a dick.

  • @Smpfelix it seems like she did sit early so Boomer most likely had back pain

  • I bet the people that asked why she didn't release more feel bad now........

  • A horse that has issues with kissing spine can exhibit this behavior

  • Sometimes horses bolt due to muscoskeletal pain ESP back pain

  • And this is how she died...rip jessica :(

  • @iCailynS when she died wasnt she riding bareback of without a bridle or something and the horse freaked :/ thats what i thought because she fell off over the fence which if she had a saddle probably knowing her talent wouldnt have happened..... i dont know if what i read is true though :/

  • Jessica's release over fences was just fine, in all the videos I've seen she never caught him in the mouth... I am just amazed at all the "she should have or shouldn't have" comments. Turning your horse in small cirlces can get them to fall on you just as easy as falling over a fence. Both methods of stopping a runaway horse works.

  • @thenaturalflowers She's owned the horse for years. She's always jumped/rode him. Look at her other video's, she amazing!!! And getting better every day in heaven I'm sure! Accidents happen, and god needed another angel. That's all. I don't think Boomer was to hard for her. They had such a bond. (: ♥ I wish I had a chance to meet her, but I will one day ♥

Rest in peace Jess. I would tell you Boomer loves you but you already know it (: ♥

  • RIP Jess even though I don't no you I no you were an amazing riding and it was neither of your faults what happen this makes me cry :'(

  • I just read the blog of the parents... It gave me the chills. She was wearing a helmet and yet it didn't protect her against what happened. I hate it when the newspapers just throw a random story out. She wasn't kicked in the head in the stable. She didn't try to jump the fence. They possibly fell in/over the fence when Boomer bolted again like this. R.I.P. Jessica. I would've loved to know you sooner. You seem amazing.

  • @ponyangel1987 if you think about it he probably rammed the fence she fell off and he rolled over her...

  • @love2jumphorses101 What I understood from the blog, they both fell indeed and with struggling back up he stepped onto her, right on the part of her head where the helmet didn't protect her. At least that's what the official investigation pointed out. If one realizes that Boomer weights about 600 kilos and that at least half of that rests on one foreleg when he got up...

  • I read about Jessica and her horse Boomer. I also read what her parents wrote about what they believed happened on Feb.6. Boomer had a troubling history (very concerning and it gve me a chill reading some details). Jessica was a gifted rider but she let her guard down that day :( She was jumping 3' bareback and was seen on video lifting the branch higher. Boomer must have bolted+ no saddle (little control). She was found with severe head trama, 4' from the fence-horrific.Horses are dangerous

  • my horse can't stand being in the arena . it's boring. we love to explore.

  • My riding teacher told me to do circles until my girl stops, i only wish she did the same, although i do not know her at all, I hope shes in her horsey heaven.

  • Why is this video in my recommendations? I don't even like horses.

  • @InTheMays then why the hell even comment?

  • Was this video taken the day she died :'( cause i read the blog and if i misunderstood it said this ws taken the day she died.

  • @swiftpaint2000 im not being hatful or anything, im just stating a fact... this video couldnt have been taken the day she died, fist of all the camera follows her, but she was filming herself the day she died so the camera couldnt move by its self and second, she was alone that day, but if you look closely at 0:10 there is another horse and rider :) xxxx

  • @swiftpaint2000 she died in 2008 in febuary so nope it couldnt have been

  • Jess....I wish I could have known you and Boomer. No matter how much I like to think me and my horse mesh perfectly, I look at you and Boomer and I know we don't have anything like that.

Maybe I'll meet you in heaven...And we can ride together

  • i really do love hoseback riding and sports! im a professional trainer myself. the only thing i hate about that thing is that every rider think he's got the most knowledge. even tho if they are just amateurs! jessica did a great job how u can see on all the videos! she wasn't just a rider she felt the horses in every sence and that's rare! i would be glad if everybody would be like her in that kinda stuff! i would be proud if i would have known her! R.I.P JESS

  • wow ok,i understand that, but by releasing it allows you and the horse to bond, why dont u try to move your elbows more it lets him no that he can trust you but also that you r still the boss....wait oops im so sorry forgot that you passed just forget everything that i said

  • @MsSugardaddies wow, that was messed up

  • @BrightLights741 It was and accident...i'm sorry :(

  • yeehaw! <3 thank god for fences no?

  • she shouldnt have pulled, a horse thinks your going to pull and pull until you'e got no enerygy left, but if you let go then the horse will think ''oh this is different, thought thered be tugging and pulling'' anyway, im really sorry about your friends death and i hope her horse is still ok, im sorry if you take this as a bitchey comment, im just trying to help. sorry if it offends you but im not trying to say anything rude.

  • @CheekyChelsea44 how does that help? that constructive critism can't GET to jess now that she's dead. and she wasn't pulling back, she was trying to steer bommer into the fence, i believe. but it doesn't really matter, i'm just saying. like they say, it's worthless shooting a dead cow.

  • @horsesrmylife54 ooohhhh sorry but a if a horse bolts sometimes they think 'oh my rider is going to pull and pulll until i finally stop' but if you dont pull then the horse might think 'whats happening??' and stop, it helps with some horses but not others.

  • @CheekyChelsea44 well it says in the descrip that she has to turn him into the fence in order to make him stop, so we all assume that she is pulling with only one hand, you know, to steer him intot he fence. its on the other side of the arena, os we don't really know anyway. but that was what she did to stop him, so i am pretty sure she was not pulling back because once again, she says in the description that she tries to steer him into the fence. and by the way, your first comment wasnt bitchy

  • @horsesrmylife54 well how im reading it which im probably not in your tone but it sounds like you are a bit angry at me so...

  • this might not be the solution, but have you tried an auto release? and wow, he got away quick. i wouldnt be able to ride him.

  • I'm sorry and Jess is awesome.. But that's how she died :( It's not hers or Boomers fault, I just wish Boomer listened to Jess and didn't take off. I wish there was another way to stop him :(

  • i use that strategie all the time on my demon pony! lol

  • I never met her but she seemed amazing! would have been blessed to meet her! and for all those people are posting how she died unfortunetly thats rude. just read the blog. i'm sure her loved once dont want to story all over youtube on comments. and for all her loved once i'm sorry for you loss truley she seemed utterly ahmazing she's one of my role modles.

  • i think I'm quite dumb but could someone kindly tell me how she died thanks

  • @4evahorselover She was bareback jumping with Boomer, he refused and went off on one, she turned him into the fence to stop him, and he jumped the fence. She fell off and he landed on her face and neck, crushing her skull and breaking her neck.. Boomer was found in the field with his reins broken :(

  • @GainingBananas Oh that's terrible :(

  • @4evahorselover I know... And for the person to find her... That would be enough to make me faint on the spot.

  • that sucks, she could of just let him run instead of trying to stop him and she would still be alive.

  • @xdieromantic7x If she let him run she would probably be in more danger. If a horse is running out, they can be very dangerous.

  • @GainingBananas well, that is true. but she is in an enclosed arena and it seems like she was a good enough rider to control her horse.

  • @xdieromantic7x Hence why she tried to control her horse. She did everything right, it's just one of those things that can't be prevented.

  • you know if she would have just taken another lap around she would be here

  • i know how she died i read her myspace they did a jump boomer missed and fell ontop of her braking her neck and head

  • @shopaholicrazy no one knows how she died! there was nobody there. that might have happened, but the most likely story is on her blog. don't go around telling people that was how she died when you don't even know for sure... i consider that very rude. it is death, it isn't someothing you just go and say whatever you want about it. no one knows, probably no one but boomer and jess will ever know.

  • @horsesrmylife54 Jess's parents wrote the blog and i believe what HER PARENTS said! Why can't i tell anyone?

  • Nobody should argue about what happened. That's Jessica and Bommer's secret to keep, not ours to tell.

  • @megloveshorses I guess you should read more carefully because in Jessica's blog it says that her Dad,Mr Craig found her outside the arena fence and she was already gone!He was worried because he had been calling her in order to pick her up from Shandoni ranch and she wouldn't answer..

  • i dont get it what happened

  • @kikiza123 Boomer took off after the jump , her reins were too loose , she couldn't stop him , so she pulled him into the fence so he would stop , or at least slow down .

    RIP Jessica , <3

  • I love watching her videos.. She seemed like a great person!

  • @megloveshorses Stop being so rude and self absorbed. I texted her literally every week...often times 4-6 days a week...for a year and a half. Did you ever think that it's a touchy subject to some people? Her father found her outside of the arena. I might know because her brother called me and told me the next morning because I was one of the last people that texted her....

  • R.I.P Jessica

  • To Jess's Family

OMG I am sorry! that is pretty scary. I have never seen this video until now. I had a horse just like boomer. He threw my dad and I.

One day He threw me so hard it messed up my back and hip to say the least.

We got him retrained because the lady that did have him before us trained him wrong. We had a trainer teach him to stop when he felt like someone was going to fall off. Saddly that did not last long. We loved him but we knew we had to sell him before someone got hurt.

  • please you two, dont argue. It is really disrespectful arguing over this, and, to be honest if her parents saw this they would probably be very hurt. Even her friends will get hurt by you arguing, so just stop okay?

    Jess,

even though i never knew you, i know that you were obviously an amazing rider and very talented with animals. God must have needed you up there very badly, and i hope that your still riding hoses, wherever you are <3 RIP Jessica Forsyth

  • @megloveshorses Read what her parents wrote, not what you figured up in your head. She DID go over the fence. He found her outside of the arena.

  • @megloveshorses It's really scary to think that she ended up OVER the fence...how far must she have gone?

  • if you want to know how she died and from her PARENTS themselves, go here

    wiki.answers.com/Q/How_did_jessica_forsyth_die

  • i looked at the blog that her parent told how they think she died and it is a long sad story.

  • rip jesisica x

  • GUYS SHUT UP!! You're arguing over a dead girl! Think how her parents must feel, reading this, arguing over how she died!? They tell you, if you just have the heart to read her blog. Get a grip, and SHUT IT.

    ♥RIP JESSICA MARIE FORSYTH♥ ♥WE MISS YOU♥

  • Why doesn't she release more----WHAT? ♥RIP Jess♥

  • megloveshorses- no your wrong AGAIN..

get YOUR facts straight, you dont know what happened, and NO she did not have permission

  • @ilovehorses1234567 uhm . maybe you should check the blog . she clearly had permission , and was dropped off there after an early release at school . boomer took off after a fence , as he has many times , and she tried to stop him by running him to the fence , like she was taught and normally does and is supposed to , and flipped over the fence and boomer landed on her head and crushed her skull and broke her neck . wow . you're such an IDIOT .

  • if boomer jumped the fence and toppled over her and killed her who waz recording this before this happend and why didnt she put new batteries in is she allwaz kept a spare with her

  • @ladybugjayjayflo She had the camera set up on a barrel. She did it all the time, as do I.

  • but if boomer jumped the fence and killed her who waz the one recording the video and she all ways had a pair of extra batteries

  • @ladybugjayjayflo she set the video camera on something to video her self

  • to find out the really way Jessica died go here jessicaforsyth. webs. com/ blog.htm no spaces just copy and take out the spaces go read for you self

  • to find out the really way Jessica died go here jessicaforsyth. webs. com/ blog.htm

  • and this is how she died. she tried to control boomer by useing the fence like she did here. but boomer attempted to jump the fence, flipped over it, and crushed jessica. Boomer never meant to hurt her, it was mereley a misunderstanding.

  • Guys, don't hate me for saying this.

This is how Jessica died. Her horse, Boomer, bolted after a jump and flipped over, barely grazing her skull but breaking her neck. She did not suffer pain of any kind. Rest in peace Jessica. You were an amazing person, and an insperation to everyone, whether they met you, or just followed your channel, or just had a mutual friend. Know that Boomer is happy, healthy and safe, and when his soul moves on, the two of you will be together forever, life as in dea

  • RIP jess, i hope ur still riding free in heaven xxx

  • May she ride through the gates of heaven and rest in the meadows of peace

  • I find these comments extremely rude and self abosrobed.

Fighting, with number one, someone you DO NOT KNOW.

    Number two, ONLINE.

And the main reason, over a death?

If you want to know what happened just read her blog. Stop fighting, it's rude and heartless. Whats done is done, and fighting over how it happened doesnt help anyone.

RIP Jess. <3 You're still an amazing rider.

  • @WondersCreated hey im sorry to bother you buti dont have a myspace or twitter just facebook,so can you please tell me how she died that would be nice and if you dont wanna say it online you can just messag me on here...thanks

    ~Kenzy~

  • @MsSugardaddies there is a website. search on google Jessica Marie Forsyth and it should be right at the top

  • Guys, stop being so immature and pathetic. You think Jess would want you acting like this? Stop arguing over how she died. It's insensitive, rude and the wrong place for it.

Watch her videos, comment ON THAT VIDEO. Not her accident, just her video and say a few nice words instead of being a bunch of arguing idiots.

A lot of you who are arguing have to just grow up and stop starting or responding to pathetic arguments.

Jess was a wonderful rider, we should think of her as that. Not her death.

  • @idorkful omg....

    *block*

  • @idorkful font tell me to relax because you the one who started getting defensive in the first place. and if you think she was an amazing rider why are we having this conversation right now....?

  • @idorkful oh my god whatever.

go cut yourself some more or do whatever else shit you emo bitches do.

im tired of getting your little emails this is stupid. stop commenting back holy shit....

  • This has happened to me on many occasions, and it's true too much of a release will make you mostly useless if this were to happen.

RIP Jess, I wish I knew you, I think we have a lot of things in common with our horses.

  • @idorkful AHAHAAA i look trashy??

okay then, all you are is some emo chick who has a video bashing hipsters or something stupid. grow up this is ridiculous i dont care what goes on at your stables because i dont even know you! and by the way this fence was like 5 feet high and he was at a pretty extreme angle to have jumped it so dont act like you know it all. dont bother commenting back either your making yourself look like a total bitch.

  • Holy shit people.

Stop fighting. You're on a freaking computer.

    You guys are ridiculous.

    Rip Jessica.

  • @idorkful shut the hell up no one cares ok i have to do that with my horse all the time because he likes to run off i don't do a one rein stop because one of my horses fell on me doing it and broke my leg the only time i do it now is when a horse rears so shut up you probably look like trash when you ride

  • @idorkful are you stupid??

click on my username and there are 2 videos of me and my new pony jumping. stfu:)

and dont call me sweetie thats fucken stupid....

  • @idorkful i am definately NOT a hypocrite. I run my horses into fences if they run off on me. it stops them. dont tell somebody how to ride their horse thank you very much. and besides i would be defending her even if she wasnt dead. this is stupid all i did was tell you that it was rude to be saying that she was a bad rider when she isnt around anymore. still waiting for that vid of you jumping 5`4 by the way.

  • @idorkful ok i will . and i will be the first one to criticise you :)

  • @idorkful why dont you put a video of yourself jumping 5`4 like you said then. if you can do it and i dont see one mistake ill admit i was wrong. your not going to though because you cant and you know that im right.

  • U ppl just shut up!we all no she died but she dsnt need this kind of crap on her videos! Srry Jessica RIP even your not here with us,u r in r hearts

  • @idorkful this is exactly what im talking about. dont think your so superior to the rest of us because of how high you jump, because it doesnt matter! the instructor was not dumb to teach her that as a last resort because as you can see, that horse was galloping off on her and if you really are such an education rider than you would know that you cant turn a horse in a gallop cause then he will fall on his face and you will both end up hurt. btw your a bitch for saying this about jessica.

  • @idorkful that was a moment where you shouldve kept your mouth shut. this girl was a hell of a rider and although it looked bad you need to respect that we all learn. horses are difficult and you need to not say stuff like that when i guarentee you werent half the horseperson jess was.

  • @idorkful actually, she was taught by her trainer to run him into a fence, as it was the ONLY way to stop him.. and the day she died, she wasnt actually alone, there were people about - even if she had 10 people in with her, the same thing would have happened, she died instantly.. no one could of saved her.. I think you should be more repectful.. R.I.P. Jessica xxx

  • @idorkful woooooow you shouldnt even say that she died and its terrible!!

  • @LuckyDice149 oo thanks

  • whats release mean?

  • whats release mean?

  • R.I.P jessica.. there is a blog that her parents have made about how she died.. go to google and type in Jessica Forsyth death and ckick the first one!

  • @GGAAKrausponygirl

    nobody knows.

why dont yo go and look it up yourself.

  • @GGAAKrausponygirl

GOOGLE IT. They guess this is what happend and insted of stopping he flipped over the fence crushing her skull and snapping her neck. The only good thing is that she would of die very fast and in no pain. RIP you lady

  • @milliesos

well SORRY for asking. Dont have to be a jerk about it. i was just askin

  • @GGAAKrausponygirl

What the hell are you going on about. I guess my comment upset you? I only upset people that are stupid, uneducated and dont have a clue what they are talking about so i guess you fall into one or more of them.

  • @GGAAKrausponygirl

What the hell are you going on about. I guess my comment upset you? I only upset people that are stupid, uneducated and dont have a clue what they are talking about so i guess you fall into one or more of them.

  • @milliesos

im not going on about anything.

also im not any of thoes. no need to dis people you dont even know.

  • RIP jessica. you are a hero to me and many others

  • This is just so sad...

  • look people STOP arguing about HOW she died, shes dead now, it doesnt matter how it happened.

RIP Jess you are loved and missed

  • @gobarrelracing For Those Who Want To Know There Is A Description. Try Googling "How Jessica Forsyth Died." R.I.P Jessica. I Wish I Could Have Meet You.

  • rip jess. ride the wild horses till boomer joins you

  • Boomer Is the only one who knows :( I wish i could ask boomer wat happen

  • Rest in Peace <3

  • Hmmmm no offense, but to English riders not know the one-rein stop?

from this video, it seems like running him to the fence was the only way to stop him. and from what I read from Mickeymouseluvaz, she ran him into the fence to stop him as well, but I haven't read the blog and I understand kno one knows, but another video I watched, a girl was riding a green horse and he took off in the arena, and she ran him to the fence, but he swerved, she fell and she died somehow... But a lot of times

  • @Cheesekake343 I hear Englsih riders say to ride their horse into the fence to stop them, (not saying Western riders dont do that, or no englsih rider knows the one rien stop, Im saying I haven't ever heard it that way) but I think the one rein stop is a rider's best friend. The horse physically can't go anywhere but a circle when their head is at the rider's knee. That has saved me and my horse's life on numerous occations (he is a bolter lol)

anyways, RIP Jess, you are SO missed

  • @Cheesekake343 I wouldn't say it's an English thing, just something people find works for them. I'm english but would never choose to use it as I think my horse probably would jump the fence (or run into it) lol and generally get confused but Jess was american and obvs she found it worked for her.

  • @xxxAllThatJazzxxx yep my horse would defo jump the fence haha. but works for my pony :)

  • From what she appears to be an amazing and inspirational rider. God was obviously searching for another angel, and she was far to good for our world. She touched the lives of so many, and has given people memories I'm sure they will cherish for the rest of their lives. I know for one, that horse loved her, without even knowing her. If you want to know the nearest to the truth you will find online, then go on her tribute page and read her parents blog entry, rather than make your own presumtions.

  • R.I.P Jessica. Boomer didnt mean to hurt her.

  • I read her blog from her parents, and there is a whole crap load of proof that he bolted after a jump, so she brot him to the fence to stop him, but he was going to fast, and she was bare back, so she brot him to the fence to stop him, but he was going to fast and couldnt stop, so they flipped over the fence, and he accidently landed on her skull and crushed it! i cried my brains out when i heard this, so go to her blog and read it yourself if you have any problems!!! RIP Jess xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

  • R.I.P Jess... I didn't know you but I wish I did, And it feels like I did ;(

You were one great rier and an inspiration to all of us, keep riding in heaven Jess, You'll ride Boomer again, when its his time. :)

R.I.P You were one hell of a girl

    XxXxxX

  • Hmm, people say i dont release enough.. my horse is will take off too! :P

    R.I.P Jess!

  • heres the real story, her parents blogged it. She went to the stable and no one saw the accident. Her dad went to pick her up because she wasn't answering her cell , and he found her not too far from the fence. With boomers past expirience of bolting after a jump. they say they believe he accidentally went over the fence and flipped over ontop of her. She broke her neck and cracked her skull . she had bruises on her hands so that indicates that she did try to stop him.

  • She was amazing! nd i long to be like her!

  • R.I.P. Jessica

do u guys still have her horse?

  • i really think i ride at that barn

  • ahaa, well... whatever works i guess! lol!

  • @horsecrazygirl3557 agreed, very much so. rest in peace jess

  • @horsecrazygirl3557 it's so upsetting. she was such a beautiful and talented rider. and she was sooo pretty.

  • After Reading these comments it Sadness me that this young girl past away. BUT when seeing are western Pleasure Horses Being put down it angers me. Western Horses are not Lazy, even if they are pleasure i have been training for 20 years know.. yes i have came across lazy ones, and yes in they where TBs, It dosent matter the Breed, It matters how the Sires where.. there parents where.. ok.. Nothing to do with the Horses..

R.I.P Jess you where a Good rider,

  • @bballrocks6 what are you even talking about?

  • R.I.P jessica, we dont blame Boomer for anything he was just a youngster just wish you were still here to make more vids ! I Miss you jess ♥

  • She didn´t die in october, she died 6th of february 2008.

  • RIP Jess, a fantastic rider I can only hope to be like :'(
