I love what you did, I complain about freezer too, small house too so we got another refrigerator in the garage. I want a smoothy now lol. and you're right it is a life style now. I like crushed ice too. keep the videos coming.
Hey Lady! Yeah, I wanted to just put an extra fridge in the garage, but we no longer have a garage b/c we converted the it to a room! lololol. I even had an old white fridge in a storage shed out back hoping to one day move and use it in a garage for extra storage. I tried to wait. Girl, I sure do miss a cup of crushed ice though! lol
This is really good video, and I have found as you mentinoed that there is some "exchanges" we have to make to get to the more important goal. You are doing really well! Keep it up I can hear and see your determination!
how old is your youngest kid! i cannot get my 3 year old to eat veggies for the life of me! she will eat a little salad but, no broccoli, peas, carrots, etc!
my youngest just turned 16 and is a fan of a good salad! 3yrs old...well that cld be tuff. Broccoli try steaming & add a little EVOO & garlic seasoning. When my girls were little, I gave in to the cheesy broccoli. At least they were getting some broccoli in. You can still buy that in most frozen food sections. Carrots, add some honey. Peas they're just good on their own! lol...oh, theres also peas in a sauce in the frozen section at walmart. I dont know calorie info. but they are good!
i'm going to try the carrots with honey that sounds pretty good! both of my girls were severe premies and i'm having a hard time getting them to gain weight so i'm not concerned about calories for them but, i too was real small like them so i'm not trying to send the message for them to eat everything in sight but, they are very underweight but, highly active and happy kids! too active for me! i guess i gotta keep experiment with veggies, they're dads hate for veggies don't help much!
This is a great age to set their "Normal" . I wish I had set different Normals when my girls were that age. Like..WATER with every meal. I used to put sugared juices, soda etc. in front of them at meal time. I would have trained them that they were Treats and Not the norm. But, they seem to make much better choices now =}
great vid! beautiful kitchen! if that house is from 87, you have don' some great renevations! i wish i could have a fridge like that! wise woman but, i guess i didn't have to tell you that! lol!

Thank you. Your are right about the renovations. There's almost NO square inch, inside and out that we have not touched/changed! lol

Nice fridge & freezer! Very roomy and can pay for itself with you reaping the benefits of not running back and forth to the grocery store!!

Exactly! Also, I wont have to continually buy those tiny bags at the grocery store that we were going through in one meal.

Thanks rocky. It really does help me a great deal to have so many options on hand.

Great job. Now you have tons of options to choose from so you aren't running out of something and reaching for something that isn't so healthy.
