I just want to be honest. This song doesn't sound quite right to me in E tuning as it since it sounds happier. Try it the way it was originally recorded, in Eb tuning, it sounds more melodic.

what kind of d is that? the d i know you put index on string 1 fret 1 middle finger on 3rd string 2nd fret and ring finger on 2nd string 3rd fret. and thats clearly not what you did in this song. so please explain how I get a D then

@Red96TA that's a d minor, d is index finger string 3 fret 2, middle finger string 1 fret 2, and ring finger string 2 fret 3.

This is good, but the second is C9, I usually keep the index in the same position to stay true to the chord shape, its good to do this because if you fuck up on stage and accidentaly hit the wrong string it will be ok because the note is still in the chord. Stay true to the chord shapes!

So you have to hammer that fret with your fingers or pull it off to the lower string
