But the traffic in Pune is quite scary for somebody that comes from Norway, trust me! And the fact that 10 years old boys driver cars there proves my point I guess. But next time I'm in Pune I will drive, promise!
I must say though that riding in big cities like i.e. Pune with a motorcycle is a crazy experience and should be avoided if you are not a lunatic seeking to be seriously injured..
So you had to buy a helmet? How much did that set you back? I know it's a bad idea to rent helmets, but can you?
Is it really that hard to ride in Goa? The roads didn't look TOO bad from that video!
I'm on my way to India in a month and am going from way up north to the south. I thought Goa would be a good chance to hire an Enfield and head around the state.
Helmets are very affordable, I recommend the type that can work both as a full face and the open version, a combi helmet. Price is around 30-40 usd.
The roads in Goa are very nice and I really did not have big problems there,but I am used to ride motorbike in Indonesia. Riding an Enfield is a slow and nice entertainment on those roads, but always be alert.
Recommended places?Well, I do not remember all those names now,but just roam around in the area,get a tourist map and you'll be just fine.
