I can't stop listening to this song! I am really touched by it! I used to like Korn, but when I came to know Christ I stopped...when I heard about Brian I was so happy, and then I understood...God can transform and save ANYBODY! You, me and Brain Welch, Korn!!! :D

I watch "Washed by Blood" and "Save Me From Myself" everyday. I love the way Head puts it out there raw how Jesus loves us enough to shed every bit of His blood for us. I was a drug addict/alcoholic for many years and certainly relate to "Save Me From Myself". I have to see the actual video because it makes me play the tape out to where I'd be if I went back to my old life. I've had the gun in my mouth and mounds of dope on the table, but Jesus showed me I am the truth, the life and the way!

Brian "Head" Welch has truly inspired me. I read his book "Save Me From Myself" and by the way, the video is so raw and awesome. I was there. I'm in recovery now and listening to his music helps me stay away from being a junkie. "Washed by Blood" is so awesome, I play it all the time. Being washed by Jesus blood is the ultimate protection. I am also blessed now that I see. We also became HIS children and HE corrects us like any GOOD Abba Father (Daddy) would do. The one thing I've realized is that if Jesus didn't like religion (legalism,judgement), we shouldn't either. When I learned that Grace and Mercy paid for my sins, I was so set free! :)

Read the scripture where it says, "God is LIGHT and in him is NO darkness at all." John 1:5. I've been observing Brian's life after leaving Korn and unfortunately I don't see the light of Christ in his works or even in his appearance. His music, his videos and even his dress are steeped in darkness. When you encounter the true and living God, his love changes you. Sadly, I don't see that change in Brian.

It talks about it in the 1 Peter 3 3:-7 and 2 Timothy 2:9. The bible also talks about it in the book of Corinthians and other places. Second, I would encourage you not to go to these religious institutions known as churches, because they are indeed corrupt and many focus on money. With that said when God changes you through his awesome love one thing that he'll teach you is how to dress appropriately.

How you dress sends a message to who ever sees you. If a woman dresses with everything exposed that sends a strong message to anyone that sees her. She's communicating apart of herself through her dress. It doesn't matter what she says, actions speak louder than words. If someone is dressing like a satanic priest purposely, if someone is showing imagery that promotes death (see Brian's flush for example) they have no LIFE/LIGHT within them.
@robdmccoy Problem with that, buddy. You forget that the Gospel trascends cultural bounds. This is an issue very similar to what Paul dealt with in Galatians. We're talking about a heavy metal -culture- here. If you wouldn't go to a foreign country and tell them how to dress and look like a christian (example, they must become westernized) why would you do it to another culture within your home country? And make no mistake about it, it's a different culture.

But that's according to how God wants that person to change, not how you want them to change. The Gospel's plan isn't to make us factory built christians, but every tribe, every nation, every one joining together as one body.
EVERY believer is being conformed to the image of Christ. So yes! It is like a factory and Jesus is the prototype. Last, the point is not to tell people how to dress 'christian'. The Bible states unambiguously, with striking frequency, that GOD HATES SINNERS, not just their sin. The Bible says God will laugh at the wicked when their calamity comes like a whirlwind, and that He rejoices over the wicked to destroy THEM. If you find this concept of God incompatible with the tenets of your religion, I question whether you really know the God of the Bible.

@TheNewlife35 I've known many true Christians who came to Christ, but the demons from their former sinful lifestyle were never casted out, & they remained for years, until they later received deliverance. Also, I know Christans who are currently demon possessed after turning away from Christ & following sin, drugs, etc. A godly Christian family friend of mine has been a deliverance minister for over 20 years, and ONLY casts demons out of Christians, otherwise, demons will return seven fold.

Lets be sure to remember all the saving we need was done at the cross by Jesus 2000 years ago and nothing has to be added to it. At conversion, all sin to that point is forgiven & forgotten.But all sins committed afterwards are NOT automatically covered. If they were, then Rom.8:13 & Gal.5:19-21 would be senseless! Jesus taught that our future sins would not automatically be forgiven Matt. 6:14,15.

Chill Bro. saying things like God hates sinners and he wants to destroy them kinda scares people away from Christianity and it's thoughts like that that make non believers stay non believers cause they think God hates them for all the sins they have committed and there past. God's going to forgive you for whatever sin you have committed and then forget about it cause he's awesome like that.

I watch "Washed by Blood" and "Save Me From Myself" everyday. I love the way Head puts it out there raw how Jesus loves us enough to shed every bit of His blood for us. I was a drug addict/alcoholic for many years and certainly relate to "Save Me From Myself". I have to see the actual video because it makes me play the tape out to where I'd be if I went back to my old life. I've had the gun in my mouth and mounds of dope on the table, but Jesus showed me I am the truth, the life and the way!

Brian "Head" Welch has truly inspired me. I read his book "Save Me From Myself" and by the way, the video is so raw and awesome. I was there. I'm in recovery now and listening to his music helps me stay away from being a junkie. "Washed by Blood" is so awesome, I play it all the time. Being washed by Jesus blood is the ultimate protection. I am also blessed now that I see. We also became HIS children and HE corrects us like any GOOD Abba Father (Daddy) would do. The one thing I've realized is that if Jesus didn't like religion (legalism,judgement), we shouldn't either. When I learned that Grace and Mercy paid for my sins, I was so set free! :)

Read the scripture where it says, "God is LIGHT and in him is NO darkness at all." John 1:5. I've been observing Brian's life after leaving Korn and unfortunately I don't see the light of Christ in his works or even in his appearance. His music, his videos and even his dress are steeped in darkness. When you encounter the true and living God, his love changes you. Sadly, I don't see that change in Brian.

It talks about it in the 1 Peter 3 3:-7 and 2 Timothy 2:9. The bible also talks about it in the book of Corinthians and other places. Second, I would encourage you not to go to these religious institutions known as churches, because they are indeed corrupt and many focus on money. With that said when God changes you through his awesome love one thing that he'll teach you is how to dress appropriately.

I still have long hair and my tattoos never left but I learned to not hate others or myself, I let go of drugs and an alcohol addiction, I learned that God does love me when for years since I was 13 I felt he hated me and I felt nothing but anger towards God until I found his love when I was in my darkest moments. The way we dress or look have nothing to do with faith in God it only has place in religion.

How you dress is a reflection of who you are. A woman wearing a short skirt and having her breasts hanging out is not pleasing to God. How you dress sends a message to who ever sees you. If a woman dresses with everything exposed that sends a strong message to anyone that sees her. She's communicating apart of herself through her dress. It doesn't matter what she says, actions speak louder than words. If someone is dressing like a satanic priest purposely, if someone is showing imagery that promotes death (see Brian's flush for example) they have no LIFE/LIGHT within them.

@robdmccoy Problem with that, buddy. You forget that the Gospel trascends cultural bounds. This is an issue very similar to what Paul dealt with in Galatians. We're talking about a heavy metal -culture- here. If you wouldn't go to a foreign country and tell them how to dress and look like a christian (example, they must become westernized) why would you do it to another culture within your home country? And make no mistake about it, it's a different culture.

But that's according to how God wants that person to change, not how you want them to change. The Gospel's plan isn't to make us factory built christians, but every tribe, every nation, every one joining together as one body.

The point I'm making is that the way someone dresses is a reflection of what's in their heart. Everything I hated about Korn; the dark twisted angry hatefulness of it, the spirit of that music is simply not present in Brian Welch's solo material. Regardless of what opinions people have, going from Korn and drug addiction to Christ is pretty dramatic.

If you find this concept of God incompatible with the tenets of your religion, I question whether you really know the God of the Bible.

Also, I know Christans who are currently demon possessed after turning away from Christ & following sin, drugs, etc. A godly Christian family friend of mine has been a deliverance minister for over 20 years, and ONLY casts demons out of Christians, otherwise, demons will return seven fold.

Lets be sure to remember all the saving we need was done at the cross by Jesus 2000 years ago and nothing has to be added to it. There are those who are truly born-again, but later forfeit salvation because they CHOOSE to turn to sin, & CHOOSE to not endure to the end. At conversion, all sin to that point is forgiven & forgotten.But all sins committed afterwards are NOT automatically covered. If they were, then Rom.8:13 & Gal.5:19-21 would be senseless! Jesus taught that our future sins would not automatically be forgiven Matt. 6:14,15.

In other words, after initial salvation we MUST endure to the "end" to enter the kingdom of God & escape the lake of fire (Mt.10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11). According to TRUE grace teaching eternal life is a HOPE (Titus 3:7), yet to be REAPED (Gal.6:8,9) in the AGE TO COME (Mk. 10:30) for ONLY the ones who PERSIST IN DOING GOOD (Rom.2:7) & DO NOT GROW WEARY & GIVE UP(Gal.6:9).
