at max the economy has 2 year max before the economic collapse. people won't wake up until they take their money and try to buy things, and they can't because no one is accepting American money.

the reason we have had so many bailouts/stimulus checks is because if the economy collapses there will be riots/revolutions in this country. the bailouts/stimulus checks are only prolonging the inevitable. more fema camps are being built, and more preparations are coming, more foreign troops in this country, etc. so when the economy does collapse, when people riot and rebel things won't get too out of hand.

I've read a lot of the ideologies said about the environment, from Nibiru coming closer to the Earth, the great pole shift coming in 2012, the reptilian race, etc. I do however believe humans have had a negative impact on the Earth and misused their source for survival, the Earth, and what we are experiencing is not just evolutionary events of the Earth changing as a result of time, but the impact we are putting on the Earth, but its just my opinion.

I read somewhere humans have been on this planet 200,000 years- I think I heard that, not read it in the movie Home, about climate change- look it up on youtube. Is this a real economy or just spending more of our children's future? We can't keep debt-spending without any real production, without real industry.

Regarding the healthcare issue, I am interested in it, but mostly from a constitutional and economic standpoint. First, there is no constitutional authority for it. Second, the US cannot afford it.
Regarding jobs, the government cannot "create" jobs. All they can really do is take resources from the productive areas of the economy and redistribute those resources. The money for these new jobs probably came at the expense of losing other jobs, due to the cost.

I'm afraid most people won't realize the seriousness of this economic crisis until the stuff hits the fan. Many are still in denial. They pounce on any good economic news either fact or fictitious. Some refuse to believe that this Great nation could be another Roman Empire. We can only pray for these people because it's too late to give them the 'red pill' at this stage of the game.
More and more people I know are on unemployment. Yay for unemployment. :\ On a more positive note, at least the cheques are more reliable (most of the time) than getting a paycheque. Some places aren't even paying their employees or cutting hours drastically. It's better to get a small cheque that comes in rather than working 20 hours a week at work and making peanuts.

Does is even matter if any jobs are saved, so many people have already lost their jobs and most of these jobs are said to be "gone forever." What this country needs is a major overhaul, and it's not happening until more and more people lose everything or nearly everything they've got.
And those who still have jobs are either very rich people or people like myself who had hours cut near the end before getting laid off. Even government/state workers are getting 15% cuts due to the furloughs.

the house credit thing was 10% of the house up to $8,000, and the reason I think it slowed down last month is the speculation that they may raise it to $10,000. they also said it may expand to anyone who wants to buy a house too, not just first-timers.
I guess it depends on what we define waking up and by what percentage. I consider 51 percent who truly beleive we are in a endless depression waking up. I think as early as december people could have that realization, but I think its most likely going to be in march or april. If you look at hte consumer sentiment readings people are expecting in 6 months for the economy to be a lot better, so when its not thats when the "reality" crash probably will happen.
My problem with govt run health care is that I haven't spent a dime on health care other than two doctor visits in the last ten years. Why should I have to pick up someone else's tab? If a person needs care, they can go to the emergency room and they will not be refused. I'm tire of giving up my rights in the name of emotional security. If you want health insurance, you already have a right to it. Go buy it like you have to do to get anything else you want.
exactly! i rarely go to the doctor and i have insurance. but i know people at work will make doctor's appointments just to get a sick day and don't have a problem admitting it. too much government is a problem and them running healthcare is just another way to control us.

Demcad we dont talk directly much but here is some real world stuff to help people. In my area in florida we used to get 1 new face every month knocking on the door looking to cut your grass or trim trees for cash. Now it's 3 to 4 new faces every week or so. My lawn is always ritled with fliars now for the same type of job hunters and its getting worse.

Regarding the healthcare issue, I am interested in it, but mostly from a constitutional and economic standpoint. First, there is no constitutional authority for it. Second, the US cannot afford it.
Regarding jobs, the government cannot "create" jobs. All they can really do is take resources from the productive areas of the economy and redistribute those resources. The money for these new jobs probably came at the expense of losing other jobs, due to the cost.

More and more people I know are on unemployment. Yay for unemployment. :\ On a more positive note, at least the cheques are more reliable (most of the time) than getting a paycheque. Some places aren't even paying their employees or cutting hours drastically. It's better to get a small cheque that comes in rather than working 20 hours a week at work and making peanuts.
It sucks, but it's true. The American standard of living has gone SO downhill. :(

Does is even matter if any jobs are saved, so many people have already lost their jobs and most of these jobs are said to be "gone forever." What this country needs is a major overhaul, and it's not happening until more and more people lose everything or nearly everything they've got.
And those who still have jobs are either very rich people or people like myself who had hours cut near the end before getting laid off. Even government/state workers are getting 15% cuts due to the furloughs.

I lost most of my cash last Oct so for me it is hard.I like Obama and he had all my support but I am not seeing any actions. Hey there :)'s from miles. I have been telling people and sending info,videos of everything going on, in the hopes of waking people up. Some people have,Many just don't want to think..deal..with reality.There is the Copenhagen Treaty, Swine flu National Emergency BS...! People being arrested for peacfully protesting.. Our rights as American HUMAN beings being earsed as if it ok. Sad but true that some people wish to see only what comfortable and easy. Even though a complete LIE!

Why would these companies give false data about creating jobs? If they aren't doing that well, wouldn't they rather be crying saying that they need bailout, tax credits, etc?

3 more months I would say a big sign that the economy will not recover , unemployment will go up! and profits for most companies in th 4th quarter will be calculated as a loss and now it's do your taxes time and I think around that time it will hit home for some people

Sadly I think it's gonna take another year. I come across many, many people who are smart people, but listen to every main stream media news source as if it's the gospel. It's mostly because people aren't educated on finances and how the markets work etc. etc., and I think most people are just scared and don't want to believe that we are facing what we are facing. It's that whole defense mechanism thing.

So also healthcare.
The political leaders typically wants to spend, and spend and spend. For example buy useless expensive fighterjets. They probably buy all kinds of medical equipments and put them in one place, resulting in hospitals withou equipment, and others loaded. Many patients won't get treatment because of this, on so forth.

I have to interested in Gov't run anything, let alone healthcare. When it the program starts look for it in a few years to end up like the Post office, budget deficit and Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid. It is a big mistake.

the house credit thing was 10% of the house up to $8,000, and the reason I think it slowed down last month is the speculation that they may raise it to $10,000. they also said it may expand to anyone who wants to buy a house too, not just first-timers.

I guess it depends on what we define waking up and by what percentage. I consider 51 percent who truly beleive we are in a endless depression waking up. I think as early as december people could have that realization, but I think its most likely going to be in march or april. If you look at hte consumer sentiment readings people are expecting in 6 months for the economy to be a lot better, so when its not thats when the "reality" crash probably will happen.

My problem with govt run health care is that I haven't spent a dime on health care other than two doctor visits in the last ten years. Why should I have to pick up someone else's tab? If a person needs care, they can go to the emergency room and they will not be refused. I'm tire of giving up my rights in the name of emotional security. If you want health insurance, you already have a right to it. Go buy it like you have to do to get anything else you want.

exactly! i rarely go to the doctor and i have insurance. but i know people at work will make doctor's appointments just to get a sick day and don't have a problem admitting it. too much government is a problem and them running healthcare is just another way to control us.

Demcad we dont talk directly much but here is some real world stuff to help people. In my area in florida we used to get 1 new face every month knocking on the door looking to cut your grass or trim trees for cash. Now it's 3 to 4 new faces every week or so. My lawn is always ritled with fliars now for the same type of job hunters and its getting worse.
