Sweet review. Thanks. If your having issues with display out. Try TVOUT2. I use that on my Kenwood dnx8120 and it works great. Auto adjust portrait and landscape.

really good concept just looks like pioneer have failed to pull it off.

its a shame the ipod player doesnt use apples interface with the finger scrolling. rather than having to click up and down.

really this would just be better if it copied the iphones display full screen onto the pioneer unit and then you could control the iphone using the pioneer display so u could access all your apps and google maps etc and play stuff off itunes.

if you hold the down or up arrows, believe it then scrolls by letters.

at least it does that for artists and songs.

@lewiszman just to note, this radio didn't last long with me, i returned it after a few weeks.... I am not sure what or if they've addressed with firmware updates since then

I know what he meant. He's asking; if while you are in that springboard app, and all of your iPhone screens are then showing on app radio, can you touch the app radio screen to select what's on your iPhone?

That looks like a terrible implementation.... it looks like it should still be in development.... that a finished product. If you want the functionality, just install a Ipad or other tablet in your dash. I have a 7" Galaxy Tab in my car and it does all that only better.

Hi morning, i've a little crazy bug with that "box"...

it's about radio name's station ( rds ) i mean if you listen a radio station transmitting a music from jon bon jovi for exemple and the radio name is "skyrock", it 's not memory the radio station name in the list upper the screen...

It keep in memory the name of the singer or the song, depending of the transmission of music information.... really "poor" bug

the bugs you mentioned are very valid but by the time i have saved enough for this radio i think there will be firmware updates and such like that i am in love with the looks and the interface "looks" are sexy as hell

I've been trying it, and just works mp3 and photos with iphone3GS....what's the f%%cking BIG difference between this f%%cking iphone 4 and the 3GS...!!!!

@vloran07 i'd guess it is a problem with your eyes, i have an iPhone 4..... i have no idea what 3GS support is, but realize that the 3GS and 4 are completely different pieces of hardware, there ARE differences... the AppRadio specs do specify "iPhone 4"

Why you "care" about the clock, you have it on your dashbord too, so doesn't matter so much...really...an equaliser animation would be nice, seriously
