  • It all comes down to how many gun stores do you see held up I can't remember the last one if I've heard of one because you know everyone in there is carrying a gun I'm not walking into a room full of armed ppl to start shooting and to everyone who is using the argument the guns are dangerous and they kill ppl my reply is damn right they're dangerous that's one of the reasons ppl carry them they help that person defend themselves and as far as guns killing ppl guns kill ppl like spoons made Rosi

  • I'm sorry you were wounded. But the person that shot you wasn't trying to rob someone or got into a fight. His mission was to walk into that school and KILL as many people as possible and then die himself! He accomplished his mission. Sadly as you well know 32 of your classmates arent alive to give there veiws. I dont know if you were the first or the last person shot, but if someone had the means to stop him you may not have been shot. Sorry to say its a numbers game with guys like this.

  • I think we should give toddlers guns...this way, if another toddler tries to kill him/her, the toddler has a way to defend him/herself. It's just basic logic. It's like my grandma always said, the only way to combat violence is with the idea of more violence.....she killed over 1200 intruders before she died. She is and always will be my hero.

  • @spungnut Of course, in your ideal world we'd ALL be like toddlers, watched over by Our Great Parent (IOW the government.) You probably trust the police to protect you (actually draw a chalk outline of your body while it's cooling... but forgive my foray into cold hard reality. As a gun control supporter, I know that you prefer daydreams.)

BTW, did you know that the police have NO legal duty to protect you as an individual? Several Supreme Court decisions affirm it... do some research!

  • @bjggjb Stop trying to take my guns away from me. I will shoot you if you get near my house. Why do you hate America so much?

  • @spungnut I don't think you read my post very carefully, chief.

  • @bjggjb Wrong....you didn't read MY post very carefully Alfred Einstein.

  • @spungnut "Alfred Einstein"? Nobody's THAT stupid. I see your game; have a nice life (if you can get one.)

  • @bjggjb Victory is mine.

  • @spungnut Whatever, chief.

  • @bjggjb you support gun control?? look what happened up here in canada..fortunately the govt revoked the gun registry that the liberals brought in 13 yrs ago

  • @icekarma2752 ME support gun control? I pack a .357 snub every day and own 3 "evil black rifles"! (And I never imagined I'd see the day where I got accused of being anti-gun by a Canadian.)

Where did you get that idea from ANYTHING I posted? "Spungnut" was playing a childish game with me in my last two posts. Maybe that confused you?

FWIW, here's hoping you Canadians keep pushing for gun rights, and eventually have the same freedoms that I enjoy here in the great state of Montana!

  • @bjggjb oops..i think you misposted..look at your post starting "of course in your perfect world we'd all be toddlers'..but glad to hear you DONT support gun control..to me gun control is like putting a deadbolt lock on a glass door..it deters the shit out of law-abiding citizens..but has no effect on the criminal element

  • @icekarma2752 sorry my mistake..you were referring to a poster as a gun control advocate..my idea of control is aiming it right :)

  • Austin TX is the only place in TX where this guy could have spewed this crap without meeting widespread disagreement

  • Its to officeaddict33, or anyone else that says my life, my wife, and my son don't have a right to live. Screw y'all, don't tell me when and where I am allowed to carry my gun. The woman in this video should realize she is at risk and should want to carry a gun! Do the statistics about "Gun free Zones" and see just where crime is higher. It won't be where guns are allowed.

  • @Grunt922. Agreed :) and to the comment below you, it makes no sense. I don't know where this person is from, but where I live, the only place to get a gun without a background check is a private sale. If a law is passed to disarm people, the only ones disarmed are law abiding citizens. Criminals love gun free zones. If an idiot doesn't want to protect themselves, don't dial 911 because the cop will bring a gun, and you may already be dead. Grunt922 and myself loves life and we are both RIGHT :)

  • my right to bear arms. i carry my concealed carry weapon on school grounds sometimes but not all the time, the constitution over rules ANY federal or state law PERIOD. my sister keeps a gun in her dorm room for protection, because im pretty sure if there is a shooting im pretty sure they wont care that im carrying a gun and i stop the shooter or my sister stops the shooter before they shoot 30 people. use your brains you ignorant fools.

  • Guns are offensive weapons, not defensive ones. Our legislators need to CLOSE the gun show loophole, which allows felons and other dangerous individuals to buy guns (even assault weapons) without a background check.

  • @dippermay13 I just want to know there are over 50,000 gun laws in this country. Not one of these laws ever stoped a rapist or a muder from happening. What has stoped these things is a law abiding citizen with a gun! All you need to do is listen to 911 calls. Oh wait I forgot real life is too scary for you. The good guys allways win the bad guys allways loss. This isnt cops and robbers kid. Theres only about 1 cop for every 1000 citizens in this great country of mine. You do the math.

  • @dippermay13 So what is a "defensive" weapon then? Give me an example! (DON'T say "my cell phone." The only thing the police are good for is drawing chalk outlines around dead bodies.)

  • MORE guns are NOT the answer. You will never get rid of the occassional mass murderer by giving guns to all people. We wil always have a wacko here & there. Having more wackos, esp in the inner city, is just stupid. For anyone to think it is ok to buy a gun at a gun show with NO background check and just handing over cash is nuts. But we live in a society where people think they are entitled to anything they want.

  • @nedm232 man are u really that blind. do you think that a 21 yr old man or woman or older isnt grown up enough to be able to carry a weapon? Not to mention that it is MY RIGHT TO DO SO. And do you ever think that a student with a gun and training to carry one might save a life? NO because you live in a fantasy world, good luck with that...

  • I thought that a guy who had been shot 4 times would have opened his eyes because of it but obviously not...

  • Colin Goddard was shot by guns NOT bought at a gun show, so he wants to stop gun show 'loophole' sales.

  • Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own pantyhose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacher got that bullet wound.

  • This guy Colin is a fucking moron. So being shot makes him an expert on guns?

  • ccalfee03: because all staff and administrators are safe/ non-abusive people???? Ya, right..... Like it or not there are always bad people.

  • The staff and administrators should be allowed to carry. I am not sure I like the idea of students walking around armed on campus. I believe whole heatedly in the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution. I am a US Marine and I believe in right to carry and concealed carry. But I just cant wrap my mind around students carrying guns on campus. The events of 4-16-07on the campus of VT were horrid. Any well trained and equiped teacher could have changed all of that.

  • If a CHL/CCW student actually HAD a gun at the VT massacre, chances are that he/she could have potentially stopped that guy from killing so many people. This idiot Colin Goddard thinks this will be open season for UT Austin. To take a gun to campus, you have to pass background checks to buy a gun and get the permit, I would know, I have both. Owning a gun is one thing, but being a CHL/CCW holder is a life changing event, one not taken lightly by anyone who has gone through the process to get it.

  • @centurion205 Chance are unlikely that they could have stopped him from killing so many people.

  • @leftofcollegestation You may be right, however the maniac who did the VT shooting was walking up and "execution style" killing the students. I've seen people, who've never shot a gun before in their lives, get a perfect bullseye from 25 feet away. Had a student been allowed to carry, maybe he/she may not have killed that wacko, but it would've evened the playing field to at least 1 person who didn't want to go down as another victim. I totally support the right to carry on our campuses PERIOD.
