Gaston's voice is a little too high with his dialogue... I think his character would have had a better development if he spoke deeper, even if his natural voice is pitched higher. He doesn't seem too manly. Otherwise, it's a decent show :)
My high school is doing this as well and we are renting all the costumes and building a rotating set piece that will be used in about five different scenes! I'm going out for the part of Ms. Pots.
Oh dear...the pit orchestra's performance detracts quite a bit from the stage performance. To me it seems as though the pit did not have enough rehearsal time rather than a lack of skill, though.
WELL....when Belle sung the part "Till Chapter Threeeee" She kinda BROKE charecter.....and trust me I COULD TELL.....it was kinda just how she put up the fingers, but just by her doing that i could COMPLEATLY tell her personality!!!:).......BUT other then that i guess i was ok!!!:)
The enchantress would've looked better if her hair was down. She didn't put up her hands like a ballerina and if she didn't walk backwards holding the rose like whe was saying 'Come little boy!! You want a cookie? Come follow me!!' Those are the improvements they have to work on!!

i've got nothing against this production...in fact, its great!!! i just love this show so much. however, the fact that the description is so cocky in saying that they could match any professional theatre group forces me to disagree. great production, but have a bit of modesty. i've seen this show on broadway with the original cast and i can honestly say that even though this is the best version of the full show ive seen on utube, its not even 1/10th as good as broadway.

@ustink0815 Sorry, I didn't mean it to be harsh or critical. I actually watched their show the entire way through for inspiration- my drama club is doing B&B in the spring. I enjoyed it a lot! I like to leave my little notes here and there, and I go back to them for my own use. I did the same thing with Les Mis two years ago, and Bye Bye Birdie last year....

...It isn't bad for a high school production ? They should have worked on A LOT - It looks like you they just practiced for a week and let it go...Nobody was cued in with the music, at all - and Belle needed a lot more vocal work. A LOT.

@xylogirl6 sorry but just out of interest i was wondering why you thought her head voice needed work - is it just me or isnt it strong enough to come across as slightly softer chest voice?
Just a comment on the mallet player. They did a good job on the bell part, but they need to not dig into the keys so much. The trumpets need to tune and the pit as a whole has to come down a few levels in dynamics to match the stage crew. I give points though for a full pit in a high school.
Also I just mean these to be constructive criticisms and I realize that these are high school musicians.

I really enjoyed the entire show.I made a play list so I could watch it again, the opening is the only part that could be worked on a bit, I don't know...You could have added some light effects when he was being put under the spell.But Very good.Just as good as Walt Disney World's show.^^
