If you want to be a little bit more secure that the is a heaven (for, heaven is inside me, but, for now, i must to work to deserve it, so, for now, is close but out of my reach) well, search about ALAN KARDEC in google. Is a spiritual doctrine. You don;t need to deny your belief, but, instead of it, improve it, helping yourself to make your belief make more sense. Just try.
I am not a christian...but none of this has anything to do with God. Regardless of what the killers said or believed. This is nothing but a weak attempt to blame God for what these pieces of shit did.
Millions of Christians around the world. Did you mention how many of them are like me? People who sold drugs for 10 years, but now I don't sell drugs, I go to church, make friends there, and follow Godly ways.
There are millions-to-one-crimes that have never happened because someone reversed his life by following God and giving up his old ways.
It makes this crazy life a much better place to share the good going on in 2010 than the bad.
Believe me, society is glad I found God and so am I.
@jimblues57 So are you saying you are going to heaven and people that don't have religion but helped people their whole lives and led good lives are going to hell? I believe in Karma more than heaven and hell. Which means you will learn from your mistakes.
@CambridgeHeights I don't mind entertaining thoughts that modern science has not figured out yet. I may not 100% in it but I can entertain it. You have 2 pieces to a trillion piece puzzle. Keep staring at those 2 pieces. That is why agnosticism is the best way to be.
@CambridgeHeights Saying I believe in something more than something else doesn't mean I actually adhere to the belief system. I can believe Person X over Person Y because Person Y is a liar but still be a big doubter of both of them.
Actually, Jim Jones was a self-professed atheist. You might want to take him off of this list. Read the FBI Jonestown transcripts. By '76 Jones was admitting publicly that he was an atheist, and that he was using the People's Temple, and the illusion of religion, to further his political goals.
(Jeremiah 17:10) "But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve."
(1 Samuel 16:7) But the Lord said to Samuel, Dont judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesnt see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
(Proverbs 21:2) "People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart."

The reason is because Christians will never point it out to themselves and their arrogance thinking they have the only truth, God's chosen. Your statement clearly shows this. You refer to non-Christians as the "THE WORLD" and we know what you mean because you say it all the time, evil people. If a parent says the child is evil it will rebel. If you go about out condemning us you will repeat what you sow.
A cop-out argument. "I am not condemning you but my invisible father is". You are trying to have your cake and eat it too. It is not taking responsibility for the object of your worship. Try to hear/feel this "if you don't worship like I do you will burn in hell forever. I am not talking but He is". We don't meet those "true" Christians you refer to. Why I am beginning to think they don't exist. They would have to be better than Jesus, who set up hell for a minor offense.
@fisherguzzi When you said "I'm not taking responsibilty for the object of my worship" Are you saying I should condemn people for the God I put my faith in? I don't believe in judging anyone, prejudice and hate separates us as God's children. If only everyone would love and accept each another for who they are, this world would be more of a peaceful place than what it is now.
Sounds like you don't take the Bible literally and that would be a good thing. It is a primitive book and shows a primitive god who was jealous, vindictive, petty, murderous, hateful to the objects of his creation. The bible says Jesus was this god and his addition of hell reflects that. The god of the OT craved blood & sacrifice & division and Jesus only defined that. The bible needs to be put in its place like any ancient writing. We have grown & are more moral now than then.
@fisherguzzi To be honest fish, I believe some parts are to be taken literally and some parts symbolical. Everyone has their own way of interpreting the bible. I am also a re-born christian that believes christians shouldn't judge anyone by their religion or beliefs, they should accept their fellow man for who they are, I thought I had to state what I believe to justify what I said earlier about prejudice separateing mankind. I don't want you to think that I don't fully believe in the holy bible
@Kazuya3000 You are completely missing the boat of Christianity. We are suppose to warn people of the judgement they are to face. The world in its state it is now will never be a peaceful place. It is ruled by man and their sinful nature. In turn man in his sinful nature man does not what to hear about God. You have to rember they are not rejecting you they are rejecting God.
despise everybody's opinion there most be a creator because even science say that evolution starter because of an explosion in the universe but still ,we have not found the missing link and who create it .............just saying
not all that say: knows or came in Jesus name is in fact true religion had caught a wrong turn for years but honestly I rather think that GOD create it me, that I came from a monkey
at the end nobody really knows what happen after death and seriously I'm not in a hurry to find out
well i,m happy i,m going to hell, be nice to see carl sagan, einstein, and in the future hell i,ll have a chat with dawkins and hawking,,, what a great place to go, fuck heaven it,ll be full of nutters.
@Acorafication No one is perfect we all fall short of the glory of God. Not everyone who repents will go to heaven, it has to be true rependance and only God can see into the hearts of people. Who are you to judge God's will? You are on the same level if not worse than the people you have mentioned in this video. You are trying to destroy the faith of others and have them follow you on your path to destruction. We will all die some day and have to account for our actions. You still have time
@Amills11 Who are you to say who is truly repentant? I mean, really, you just did EXACTLY what I claimed you would do at the end of my post. Further, it doesn't matter if they are actually repentant or not. Your god does not exist, and neither does heaven, so therefore, it doesn't matter if they actually repent. What does matter is that they feel that they can be forgiven for committing horrible crimes, thereby making it much easier for them to commit said acts.
@Acorafication "Who are you to say who is truly repentant?" I didn't say I know who truly repentants. I'm saying that repentance has to be real to be saved. To the rest of your post. I'll take it you believe that everything magically formed out of thin air but you'll try to back it up with some nonsensical garbage to make it sound believable because it took millions and billions of years to create life out of the stuff that was already magically floating around.
@Amills11 No, I don't believe that everything magically formed out of thin air, but nice job reusing the same old strawman that every anti-science theist uses to make the facts seem less plausible then their personal fairytale. No, I believe that there is a rational scientific explanation for the existence of the world, the universe, and life, and that even if we didn't know it, there is no reason for supposing a unprovable deity. You have no evidence for your belief, therefore, it is illogical.
@Acorafication You really don't know the evolutionist stance is do you. They know there was a beginning everything shows there was. You don’t believe everything was created out of nothing so stuff just always existed on there own even better. Evolution is not a science it is cop out for people who don't want to answer to God. If you took your head out of the sand and look at the "science" you would know it is insane. They also know most of creation suddenly appeared.
@Amills11 First of all, there is no such thing as an evolutionist. Second of all, don't think that you can tell me what my stance on anything is. Third of all, all the evidence points to there being a beginning of this stage of the universe. Before the Big Bang, we don't know what existed. Fourth, evolution is a science, it's also proven fact. Fifth, evolution says nothing about whether or not a god exists. Sixth, evolution has nothing to do with the beginning of the universe.
@Acorafication I'm sorry there called humanist. If you believe in evolution I should be able to tell what your stance on the issue is. Before the big bang we don't know what existed sounds like a cop out to me. Any scientist worth his weight knows evolution is a theory not fact and can never be proven because it didn't happen. There are many theories of evolution cosmic, organic, transitional, ect. The only one that some what exist but its not evolution is the differences in species.
@Amills11 No, humanists are people who believe we should focus on the human and societal aspects of life. Again, you seem to be making strawmen. If I believe in evolution, and you know that, then the ONLY thing that you can judge based on that is that I believe in evolution.
No, saying 'we don't know what was before the big bang' isn't a cop out, it's the truth. Something you might want to investigate. It's also much less of a cop out then 'Magic sky daddy did it'.
@Acorafication The Magic sky daddy did it! Is the only possible explanation. Someone can't say matter always existed or that matter got created out of Nothing and call it science. The complexity in life is too great to say it could have happened by chance. Let alone matter can not be created out of nothing again that is the evolution stance on the issue. I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall when people can say this and think they are smarter than the rest of society.
@Amills11 Further, no, any scientist worth his weight would tell you that 'theory' in science applies to any set of proven things that is used to cohesively explain them all. Hence why we have the theory of gravity and the germ theory. Please, stop using the oldest, most outdated argument in the book.
Evolution generally is used in the biological sense. It IS evolution, and it HAS been proven. Unlike your god.
@Acorafication Why don't you look at all the holes it the theory of evolution. If one thing doesn't match up the whole theory is junk. Don't compare this outdated theory with gravity. The founding father of evolution wouldn't even believe in it anymore and was questing it with the lack of evidence he was finding in his day. I am certain that anyone who has such a distaste for God either has a superiority complex or has a perversion.
@Amills11 Seventh, no, evolution is a scientifically proven fact, not insanity. And finally, eighth, no, 'they' do not know that most of 'creation' suddenly appeared. The evidence shows quiet the opposite. In fact, the period of quickest evolutionary progress ever shown, the Cambrian Explosion, took several hundred thousand years, and still only gave use very basic creatures.
@Acorafication Evolution is a proven fact? HAHAHA What falsified evidence do you want to use now. The old we have vestigial organs when after the fact they find out we don't or anymore glued moths to tree trunks. Do you understand the ramifications of the Cambrian explosion it is impossible for life to evolve in that time frame. The complexity of life wouldn't allow it. There are clear barriers in life. Let alone life can not be created out of non-life. Basic creatures! No life is basic.
@Amills11 It would literally take me several hundred posts to give you all the evidence for evolution, and I don't have that kind of time. If you'd get your head out of your ass and do some actual research instead of simply taking everything your preacher says as fact, then you would also accept the theory of evolution.
You obviously don't understand the Cambrian explosion at all. Firstly, it occured over 70 to 80 million years, which is NOT that short of a time period.
@Acorafication Cambrian explosion shows the life created during the time period did not have common ancestors. The point is that there were no transitional forms. They just apperead they were not the product of natural selection.
@Amills11 Therefore, no, it would not be impossible for life to evolve in that time period, because life was much more simplistic then. But I'll humor you. What 'clear barriers' are there in life, and how do these make evolution impossible?
Evolution doesn't say that life was created from nonlife. That's abiogenesis, you incompetent twit. Do some goddamned research. And yes, life started out basic. You claim that no life is basic, but that's because it's all been through billions of changes.
@Acorafication Proven! Yeah ok. Give me one example hey give me 1,000 since its been proven. Show me a transitional form. show me any proof. Tell me why we inherently know good from bad. Tell me why single celled organism decide to live in a complex symbiotic relationship to create the human body. Tell me how the massive amount of information (DNA) in the so called simple cell got there in the first place or any purpose to how life was created. Matter is enough to prove there was a creator.
@Amills11 Now, for anything I failed to clear up. First, there is no such thing as an evolutionist, only people who accept the theory of evolution and people who don't. Second, creating a strawman of your opponent's position is fallacious, and shows that your argument isn't as sound as you think. Third, as we have no idea what the universe was like before the big bang, other then that something existed before it (Most likely, a singularity), we cannot determine what was before.
@Acorafication That is not a straw man argument you either believe rocks, water, elements on the perodic table, ect. All come from nothing or always existed there is no middle ground. The Big bang happened we all know it happened it came from a scientist that used it as proof God created everything before people thought it would have taken trillions of years to creat the sun ext. So where did this "singularity" come from could this singulatrity's name be God?
@Amills11 No. You could also believe, as the majority of the scientific community does, that since everything is composed of matter, before that matter was in the form of rocks and all else, it was a singularity in the current center of the universe, which then expanded rapidly in the Big Bang. A singularity is a extreme dense, extremely hot, and extremely small point of matter, so no, it could not be God, since your god is a supernatural being, not a natural force.
@Amills11 The fact that the scientist that proposed the big bang was also a priest does not mean that he was right about everything, and he never used it as proof of god. Simply saying 'Oh, god made it happen' is not proof, it's conjecture. Also, it would not have taken trillions of years for a sun to form, so please, actually look things up once in a while. You seem to fail to do this on every account.
@Amills11 The singularity always existed, as it was simply matter and energy, neither of which can be created nor destroyed, so it's only logical to assume that both have always existed in some form. Because the universe is always expanding, we know that it must, at once point, have been very tightly packed, thereby making the singularity the only logical starting point. Whether your god was the thing that caused it to expand, I don't know, but there is absolutely no evidence to say that he did.
@Acorafication Oh I understand you want to call God the singularity well thats a new name but atleast you understand God exists. Understanding isn't enough though.
@Amills11 Do NOT tell me that I am worse then any of the people in this video. I have never committed any atrocity against the human race. But do you know who has? The Pope, who is killing millions of people in Africa by telling them that condoms make AIDs spread faster. Hell, any religious leader who tells their followers that the spiritual aspects are more important then the physical. That weakens and damages our society.
@Acorafication I will tell you that. Lack of religion destroys any moral compass. Your venomous hatred for God is doing the same harm they are doing. Your really blaming the pope with what is happening in Africa? The problem with Africa is that it has no stable government and the government they have is corrupt. By the way I have some major problems with the Catholic church so, you bringing up the Catholic church means nothing.
@Amills11 It seems that I did not reply to a few of your posts. To show you that these points aren't valid, I shall do so now.
Lack of religion in no way hinders a moral compass, since morals do not come from religion. This is proven by the fact that pack animals survived morally (Within their species, which is also how humans work) for millions of years, and the fact that humans lived morally for millions of years before the rise of Christianity, so it can't be the basis of morality.
@Acorafication Wow packed animals survive without religion, well I don‘t what that’s suppose to mean I don‘t think humans are just another animal. So, you think instinctively people know what’s right and wrong well atleat we can agree on one thing. The Bible says God has written his laws on the hearts of every man. That is why we know when we do wrong. People lived moral lives that is based on your standard not God's. People have been around for millions of years?
@Amills11 Well then, you'd be wrong, as biologically, humans are just another species of animal. The only thing that makes us different is that people are too stupid and self important to realize that we're the same. I think humans, which are social animals, adapted their morality as they evolved so that they could better work as a group, which would help promote the survival of the species.
@Amills11 The bible also says that plants were created before there was a sun to allow them to live, and that's obviously bullshit, so I don't see why I should accept anything that your bible says without proof. Again, you're making claims and backing them up with a book. Would you like me to try to prove that elves exist by using Lord of the Rings? That would be just as moronic as what you're trying to prove with your bible. There's nothing to say that its reliable, and several to say it's not.
@Amills11 Also, I'm not blaming the pope for every problem in Africa. I'm stating that him saying that condoms help the spread of AIDs instead of what they actually do, all for a religious reason, is bad. The point being was not that the catholic church is bad, but rather that religion can convince you to do absolutely horrible things, and still think that you'll be going to a perfect supernatural afterlife. That is not a good thing.
@Acorafication As suppose to the belief that we are just animals and that morals should be dictated by societies standard at that time in place I know you didn't say that but that is what happens when there is no absolute moral authority. That is why Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot were able to do the things they did. Most of the things Catholics have done throughout the centuries were against Christians. A Bible believing Christian with sound doctrine will not do horrible things.
@Amills11 And again, this is the no true scotsman fallacy. Simply because someone, a Christian, does something that proves you wrong, you claim that he isn't a 'true' christian, but I say bullshit. Besides, your own bible tells you to do things like sacrificing innocent animals, and stoning unruly children and unfaithful wives. That isn't exactly the guideline for morality right there. And no, most of the things the catholics have done were not against Christians, but against nonbelievers.
@Acorafication "Hell, any religious leader who tells their followers that the spiritual aspects are more important then the physical. That weakens and damages our society." Would you like to use some examples to back up this claim.
@Amills11 Not any specific claims, instead, I shall use logic. Any religious leader that says that the spiritual aspects are more important then the physical are damaging their followers and society as a whole. When a person believes that this life doesn't matter as long as they've prepared for the next one, they will neglect this one, and not strive for the betterment of themselves and society, since nothing they can do here will ever compare to the supposed next life.
@Acorafication When someone is focus on spiritual things that is when they are focused on the present life the most. That is why Christians will donate there time, money, and blood. I don't know anyone who has quit trying to suceed in this life because they are a Christian or anyone who has the mentality that this life don't matter. I have found that logic in non-believers. The drink and be merry for tomorrow we die mentality.
@Amills11 Yes, Christians donate time, money, and blood. So do nonbelievers. It simply isn't as publicized, because this country is still moronic enough to think that simply because someone is a nonbeliever, that they are a bad person. The fact that you don't know anyone like what I have said does not mean they do not exist. I have known several who've said that if they weren't told that suicide was a sin, they would kill themselves right then, just to be with god. And so would most Christians.
@Amills11 And last but not least, your god, who is sending the vast majority of his creations to a place of eternal torture simply because he isn't kind enough to reveal himself through anything but a contradiction filled, dusty old book.
And no, I don't still have time. Your bible says that the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the holy spirit. So yes, even if I realize the truth later on, your god would be too much of a bastard to forgive me.
@Acorafication God hasn't revealed himself to his creation? Look around. Any and all creation reveals we have a creator. I don't want to get into a evolution debate since this is a religious debate. But evolution is not based on science and its a fairy tale created by people who don't want to feel accountable. God doesn't send anyone to hell we send ourselves there. I'll bite how does the Bible contradict itself? All sins can be forgiven. You didn't commit the unpardonable sin.
@Amills11 Me making a sculpture would not prove that we have a creator, so no, "Any and all creation" does NOT reveal we have a creator. And evolution is based on science, considering it has been proven almost without a doubt. The only other option is if someone manipulated the world into simply appearing as if it had boundless amounts of evidence for evolution. It has nothing to do with accountability, since all it details is how animals changed. It has nothing to do with god.
@Amills11 Now, as to how the bible contradicts itself. Completely ignoring the blatant scientific inaccuracies and historical failings, here are a few questions I want you to answer.
@Acorafication For anyone to understand the Bible they need to understand it is progressive revelation and there was the old covenant and the new covenant. 1. At least 4 or 5. Just because one writer chose to include everyone who went while another chose to only say important people who went doesn’t make it a contradiction. You can google any of your questions and find the truth that’s there’s no contradictions.
@Amills11 How can the bible be progressive as you say, if it's the supposed perfect word of god, then it shouldn't need progression, and it shouldn't be flawed or even appear flawed. But it does.
You know, your argument would work if it wasn't for the fact that some passages leave out very important people (Like Jesus' fucking mother), and the fact that you have no basis for your claim that the author only chose to write about the important people while others wrote about all.
You still have time
all people are a weak creatures. They are seeking God, they think they are right, they think for themselves etc...and fucking shit like it. We are all fucked !
o my come on, it once Yeshua,Jesus who made these siner ,sinner, jest because they say The name Jesus there bornagain christian, catholic, or what ever. this is Yeshua,Jesus fault. come on , you and i deserve hell.we all sin, but these evil, get it evil men and women who have evil, get evil spirit tell them there doing for Jesus or there God, no not Yeshua,Jesus lucfer is there god.get it,quick it. I was violated by 7 people, but i did not blame God.it was evil....
sick people ! You can say you are whatever but the true is in your heart and God Knows the truth ,been a christian don`t mean be without sin , I`m a Christian guy and I beleive those people are just crazy , what you call morals cames from a Christian concept wasn't created by nobody but God . what you think is wrong or right cames from the Bible just think for a second ,Why is wrong to kill ? if there is no God there is no right or wrong I believe so forget about the morals is too Christian !
"what you think is wrong or right cames from the Bible just think for a second "
No, you think for a second. Laws such as not to kill or steal have existed LONG before the Mosaic Laws and the 10 commandments. In cultures such as Mesopotamia and Egypt. Just to name TWO of many. And yes, they were even written laws.
This beautifully shows how their supposed 'God given morality' doesn't make them better people. If anything, it makes it easier for them to be worse people, as it allows them to sit down at the end of the day and pray to their god, and then they think they're covered.
The sad thing is, most Christians who see this will claim that 'they aren't true Christians' in another perfect example of the no true scotsman fallacy.
@IPawnt No, I'm going to denounce Christianity because it's preposterous, immoral, and because every single argument in favor of Christianity has been based on one or more logical fallacies.
The fact that these serial killers happened to be Christians is just bonus.
The sad thing is, alot of those people probably weren't insane. They could have just been motivated by a curiously strong faith (altoids, anyone?). You can find justification in the bible for any of these acts if you so choosed.
ha! yh rite! most o dese ppl are hypocrits gone crazy. it wasn't Jesus token to dem but satan...but i dey truly repented b4 dey died like ted bundy den dat's a dif story
The lesson to be learned here is that, God doesn't owe us anything, we are on no ground to blame the One who made us and provide our daily needs for every single futile problems or our own issues.
The lesson to be learned here is that, God doesn't owe us anything, we are on no ground to blame the One who made us and provide our daily needs for every single futile problems or our own issues.
And I don't think it's difficult to notice that these people had issues and twist teachings that are given to them for their own agenda, i.e. Jihads? Also, people tend to blame all of the bad things happening today on God. Ranging from natural disasters, war and poverty to being born in a poor family, not handsome/beautiful enough, not striking a lottery (Yes, you heard that right.), and so on... A great example can be found in Luke 23: 39 - 40. Strange? Yep. Rational? Nope.
These people only represent a small portion of Christians, and I noticed that you left out atheists who were mass murderers, i.e. Mao, Stalin, Hitler. I think you and me both know that there are bad apples in every institution. Not to claim believers in Jesus Christ are more moral or any less moral than atheist. And I think you do remember "Do not murder." is one of the Ten Commandments, right? Not to mention, "turn the other cheek" or "forgive and bless your persecutors".
STFU you stupid fuck! Hitler was an CHRISTIAN!!!! GET OVER IT! As for Mao and Stalin they where both communist. Christianity is one of the sickest religions out there and causes much of the worlds suffering to date. Also I love how you just gloss over the bible missing the parts where it teaches you how to buy and sell slaves and rape woman.
@bananabread119 Fair enough. Did I say christians are all holy saints? No. And sorry, the Bible never teaches about buying and selling slaves and raping women. If there is, please point it out to me, so that I can agree with you. And you might want to cool down a little bit, you're getting all personal over nothing.
Listen to me very carefully your blatant ignorance is damaging and dangerous to society. But you asked me a question and then you said you would agree with me if you found versus in the bible that condoned slavery? haha Well here you go!
@bananabread119 Maybe you should read these verses again without any prejudice, because they talk about marriage, not raping women. And that was the social system back then, everywhere around the globe. God had to use a way that humans can relate to. Blaming that on the Bible seems a bit far-fetched. Also, everything changed when Jesus came down. I'm not trying to convert you, just trying to have a friendly conversation here. =)
Then your an idiot and a lair and this conversation is over! Also no your wrong all are form the New international version! But who cares there both from your benevolent God. =)
@bananabread119 I'm an atheist and anti theist, and I agree with you on those verses. They leave no room for interpretation and are very clearly about raping women, how to buy slaves etc
BUT, I just thought I should tell you that Exodus, and deuteronomy are both Old Testament books, not New Testament. Having said that, christians who try and get out of it by saying OT doesn't count anymore, are dumb since Jesus enforces OT laws himself in the NT.
@bananabread119 Hitler was not a christian you really need to read some biography his parents were catholics Adolf Hitler's religious views have been a matter of dispute, in part because of apparently inconsistent statements made by Hitler, and those attributed to him. The relationship between Nazism and religion was complex and shifting over the period of the Nazi Party's existence and during its years in power.
Peter Sutcliffe claimed to hear voices telling him to kill prostitutes and said it wasn't to do with him being a sick pervert, but when he was caught he had a jumper on his legs so that he could kneel with his genitals exposed so he could masturbate. People acutally believed his excuses and he went for any easy target. It's just that he was so ugly he could only get prostitutes in his car or hit other women from behind in the street.
what the F are you saying that good people in the world. IE, bill nye, walt disney, lincoln) are not going to heaven but these people who are religeous do?
you dont know that! but god does forgive all so we ALL go to heaven and the internet doesnt prove it.
@PriscillaRelentless "good" by whose standard? Ever lie cheat or steal, lust, covet, etc.... Then you fail... How "good" is "good" your standard is probably based on the sliding scale of moral relativeism. Which actually is not a standard at all. Truth is unchanging, therefore "good" is unchanging. God's standard of good is perfection. If you tell me your perfect then I know your a liar and therefore under his standards not "good" enough. His heaven means His rules....
If you don't trust yourself to be able to figure out what is right from wrong, how can you trust yourself to have been able to choose what is the one true religion? As a fallible human being, how do you know you haven't made a mistake in choosing Christianity? How do you know it isn't some other religion, one that would damn you to an eternity of torment for not having chosen that one?
Hell is not a purely Christian concept. Other religions that believe in a place of punishment include Islam, Buddhism, and Zoroastrianism. The concept of hell predates Christianity. It can be found in the mythology of the Celts, Egyptians, Greeks, Slavs, and Mayans to name a few.
I would say I am well past skeptical. I would go so far as to say I do not believe in hell at all, and I have my doubts at to whether the biblical concept of hell is meant to be taken literally. I am more interested in religions that are not at odds with my own intellectual reasoning. Liberal Judaism., for example. Which, like all branches of Judaism, does not believe in hell.
It doesn't help when Christians make false claims about their religion either.
@aristotlestudent Interesting, like Pat slobertson, Jerry Fatwell, Billy Scam, Joel Fauxsteen etc.........The list goes on and there's a sucker born every minute and there's a charlatan always waiting to take advantage of them.
If God forgives every sin, I would like to know what will he explain to the victim or even to the victim's family when they get to heaven. Because if someones kills any person of my family, there's no justification, not from the killer and not from God.
I know Dahmer repented and accepted Jesus - you can see it on YouTube. I hope Ted makes it to heaven, too, coz he supposibly accepted in the end and he responded to my '88 Christmas card I sent him! Yea, just claiming a family denomination or having water thrown on you at birth won't get you in heaven or saved. It's sincear belief.
Thanks for sharing. I just want to point out a few things. Not all Christians are like that. I am as Roman Catholic as they get, ( Italian and all :), but not every Christian person is evil, also I am big on serial killers and I have read a lot of books on Serial Killers, the majority fo them suffered brutal childhood, ( Sexual abuse, neglect, physical abuse ect) this inturn brought on some of their pyschosis to murder. Not that I am excusing this behaviour. Thanks for posting,
u say tht ur not trying to say tht atheists r more moral than pple who believe in god, yet all these pple who u say mite go 2 heaven r murderers, u ddnt include a single prsn who believes in god who did sumthing gr8, moreover, u only focused on christians. surgery, algbra, anaesthesia, all dun in the name of god, so why dnt u tlk of the ppl who did tht, theyll b in heaven.only ppl who lived honestly will go to heaven. God is merciful, but he is also fair, dsnt mttr wat ur religion is.
I think he's an atheist ! :-) Like i am... you are right not all Christian do crimes like this,But I think allot of people think that if you are an atheist you are Satan, that you go killing and doing crazy things because you don't believe in a "GOD".
@shadowglaive1 the bible says ONLY beleivers go to heaven no matter the good deeds i can rape murder torture and mollest children as long as i repent to your god i go to heaven is that fair think about it soon you wont beleive these insanely immoral fairytails
@shadowglaive1 he did it on purpose to show how stupid it is to think those people will have access to heaven when compared to a normal atheist who will go to hell. thats what the bible teach! dont contradict it.
Fantastic I am so glad. Gary Bishop's name came into my head.

Just try.

Actually, Jim Jones was a self-professed atheist. You might want to take him off of this list. Read the FBI Jonestown transcripts. By '76 Jones was admitting publicly that he was an atheist, and that he was using the People's Temple, and the illusion of religion, to further his political goals.

I hate how the world is so quick to point out the hypocrital christians and never the true.
Kazuya3000 1 year ago
@Kazuya3000
If you go about out condemning us you will repeat what you sow.
fisherguzzi 1 year ago
@fisherguzzi I don't have the right to condemn anyone bro, Only the father has that right. I'm sorry if I offended you, but it's so true.
Kazuya3000 1 year ago
@Kazuya3000
They would have to be better than Jesus, who set up hell for a minor offense.
fisherguzzi 1 year ago
@fisherguzzi When you said "I'm not taking responsibilty for the object of my worship" Are you saying I should condemn people for the God I put my faith in? I don't believe in judging anyone, prejudice and hate separates us as God's children. If only everyone would love and accept each another for who they are, this world would be more of a peaceful place than what it is now.
Kazuya3000 1 year ago
@Kazuya3000
We have grown & are more moral now than then.
fisherguzzi 1 year ago
@fisherguzzi To be honest fish, I believe some parts are to be taken literally and some parts symbolical. Everyone has their own way of interpreting the bible. I am also a re-born christian that believes christians shouldn't judge anyone by their religion or beliefs, they should accept their fellow man for who they are, I thought I had to state what I believe to justify what I said earlier about prejudice separateing mankind. I don't want you to think that I don't fully believe in the holy bible

Kazuya3000 1 year ago
@Kazuya3000 You are completely missing the boat of Christianity. We are suppose to warn people of the judgement they are to face. The world in its state it is now will never be a peaceful place. It is ruled by man and their sinful nature. In turn man in his sinful nature man does not what to hear about God. You have to rember they are not rejecting you they are rejecting God.

You still have time
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Who are you to say who is truly repentant? I mean, really, you just did EXACTLY what I claimed you would do at the end of my post. Further, it doesn't matter if they are actually repentant or not. Your god does not exist, and neither does heaven, so therefore, it doesn't matter if they actually repent. What does matter is that they feel that they can be forgiven for committing horrible crimes, thereby making it much easier for them to commit said acts.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication "Who are you to say who is truly repentant?" I didn't say I know who truly repentants. I'm saying that repentance has to be real to be saved. To the rest of your post. I'll take it you believe that everything magically formed out of thin air but you'll try to back it up with some nonsensical garbage to make it sound believable because it took millions and billions of years to create life out of the stuff that was already magically floating around.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 No, I don't believe that everything magically formed out of thin air, but nice job reusing the same old strawman that every anti-science theist uses to make the facts seem less plausible then their personal fairytale. No, I believe that there is a rational scientific explanation for the existence of the world, the universe, and life, and that even if we didn't know it, there is no reason for supposing a unprovable deity. You have no evidence for your belief, therefore, it is illogical.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication You really don't know the evolutionist stance is do you. They know there was a beginning everything shows there was. You don’t believe everything was created out of nothing so stuff just always existed on there own even better. Evolution is not a science it is cop out for people who don't want to answer to God. If you took your head out of the sand and look at the "science" you would know it is insane. They also know most of creation suddenly appeared.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 First of all, there is no such thing as an evolutionist. Second of all, don't think that you can tell me what my stance on anything is. Third of all, all the evidence points to there being a beginning of this stage of the universe. Before the Big Bang, we don't know what existed. Fourth, evolution is a science, it's also proven fact. Fifth, evolution says nothing about whether or not a god exists. Sixth, evolution has nothing to do with the beginning of the universe.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication I'm sorry there called humanist. If you believe in evolution I should be able to tell what your stance on the issue is. Before the big bang we don't know what existed sounds like a cop out to me. Any scientist worth his weight knows evolution is a theory not fact and can never be proven because it didn't happen. There are many theories of evolution cosmic, organic, transitional, ect. The only one that some what exist but its not evolution is the differences in species.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 No, humanists are people who believe we should focus on the human and societal aspects of life. Again, you seem to be making strawmen. If I believe in evolution, and you know that, then the ONLY thing that you can judge based on that is that I believe in evolution.
No, saying 'we don't know what was before the big bang' isn't a cop out, it's the truth. Something you might want to investigate. It's also much less of a cop out then 'Magic sky daddy did it'.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication The Magic sky daddy did it! Is the only possible explanation. Someone can't say matter always existed or that matter got created out of Nothing and call it science. The complexity in life is too great to say it could have happened by chance. Let alone matter can not be created out of nothing again that is the evolution stance on the issue. I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall when people can say this and think they are smarter than the rest of society.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Further, no, any scientist worth his weight would tell you that 'theory' in science applies to any set of proven things that is used to cohesively explain them all. Hence why we have the theory of gravity and the germ theory. Please, stop using the oldest, most outdated argument in the book.
Evolution generally is used in the biological sense. It IS evolution, and it HAS been proven. Unlike your god.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication Why don't you look at all the holes it the theory of evolution. If one thing doesn't match up the whole theory is junk. Don't compare this outdated theory with gravity. The founding father of evolution wouldn't even believe in it anymore and was questing it with the lack of evidence he was finding in his day. I am certain that anyone who has such a distaste for God either has a superiority complex or has a perversion.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Seventh, no, evolution is a scientifically proven fact, not insanity. And finally, eighth, no, 'they' do not know that most of 'creation' suddenly appeared. The evidence shows quiet the opposite. In fact, the period of quickest evolutionary progress ever shown, the Cambrian Explosion, took several hundred thousand years, and still only gave use very basic creatures.
Acorafication 1 year ago

Amills11 1 year ago
@Acorafication Evolution is a proven fact? HAHAHA What falsified evidence do you want to use now. The old we have vestigial organs when after the fact they find out we don't or anymore glued moths to tree trunks. Do you understand the ramifications of the Cambrian explosion it is impossible for life to evolve in that time frame. The complexity of life wouldn't allow it. There are clear barriers in life. Let alone life can not be created out of non-life. Basic creatures! No life is basic.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 It would literally take me several hundred posts to give you all the evidence for evolution, and I don't have that kind of time. If you'd get your head out of your ass and do some actual research instead of simply taking everything your preacher says as fact, then you would also accept the theory of evolution.
You obviously don't understand the Cambrian explosion at all. Firstly, it occured over 70 to 80 million years, which is NOT that short of a time period.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication Cambrian explosion shows the life created during the time period did not have common ancestors. The point is that there were no transitional forms. They just apperead they were not the product of natural selection.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Therefore, no, it would not be impossible for life to evolve in that time period, because life was much more simplistic then. But I'll humor you. What 'clear barriers' are there in life, and how do these make evolution impossible?
Evolution doesn't say that life was created from nonlife. That's abiogenesis, you incompetent twit. Do some goddamned research. And yes, life started out basic. You claim that no life is basic, but that's because it's all been through billions of changes.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication Proven! Yeah ok. Give me one example hey give me 1,000 since its been proven. Show me a transitional form. show me any proof. Tell me why we inherently know good from bad. Tell me why single celled organism decide to live in a complex symbiotic relationship to create the human body. Tell me how the massive amount of information (DNA) in the so called simple cell got there in the first place or any purpose to how life was created. Matter is enough to prove there was a creator.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Now, for anything I failed to clear up. First, there is no such thing as an evolutionist, only people who accept the theory of evolution and people who don't. Second, creating a strawman of your opponent's position is fallacious, and shows that your argument isn't as sound as you think. Third, as we have no idea what the universe was like before the big bang, other then that something existed before it (Most likely, a singularity), we cannot determine what was before.
Acorafication 1 year ago

Amills11 1 year ago
@Acorafication That is not a straw man argument you either believe rocks, water, elements on the perodic table, ect. All come from nothing or always existed there is no middle ground. The Big bang happened we all know it happened it came from a scientist that used it as proof God created everything before people thought it would have taken trillions of years to creat the sun ext. So where did this "singularity" come from could this singulatrity's name be God?
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 No. You could also believe, as the majority of the scientific community does, that since everything is composed of matter, before that matter was in the form of rocks and all else, it was a singularity in the current center of the universe, which then expanded rapidly in the Big Bang. A singularity is a extreme dense, extremely hot, and extremely small point of matter, so no, it could not be God, since your god is a supernatural being, not a natural force.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Amills11 The fact that the scientist that proposed the big bang was also a priest does not mean that he was right about everything, and he never used it as proof of god. Simply saying 'Oh, god made it happen' is not proof, it's conjecture. Also, it would not have taken trillions of years for a sun to form, so please, actually look things up once in a while. You seem to fail to do this on every account.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Amills11 The singularity always existed, as it was simply matter and energy, neither of which can be created nor destroyed, so it's only logical to assume that both have always existed in some form. Because the universe is always expanding, we know that it must, at once point, have been very tightly packed, thereby making the singularity the only logical starting point. Whether your god was the thing that caused it to expand, I don't know, but there is absolutely no evidence to say that he did.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication Oh I understand you want to call God the singularity well thats a new name but atleast you understand God exists. Understanding isn't enough though.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Do NOT tell me that I am worse then any of the people in this video. I have never committed any atrocity against the human race. But do you know who has? The Pope, who is killing millions of people in Africa by telling them that condoms make AIDs spread faster. Hell, any religious leader who tells their followers that the spiritual aspects are more important then the physical. That weakens and damages our society.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication I will tell you that. Lack of religion destroys any moral compass. Your venomous hatred for God is doing the same harm they are doing. Your really blaming the pope with what is happening in Africa? The problem with Africa is that it has no stable government and the government they have is corrupt. By the way I have some major problems with the Catholic church so, you bringing up the Catholic church means nothing.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 It seems that I did not reply to a few of your posts. To show you that these points aren't valid, I shall do so now.
Lack of religion in no way hinders a moral compass, since morals do not come from religion. This is proven by the fact that pack animals survived morally (Within their species, which is also how humans work) for millions of years, and the fact that humans lived morally for millions of years before the rise of Christianity, so it can't be the basis of morality.
Acorafication 1 year ago

Amills11 1 year ago
@Acorafication Wow packed animals survive without religion, well I don‘t what that’s suppose to mean I don‘t think humans are just another animal. So, you think instinctively people know what’s right and wrong well atleat we can agree on one thing. The Bible says God has written his laws on the hearts of every man. That is why we know when we do wrong. People lived moral lives that is based on your standard not God's. People have been around for millions of years?
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Well then, you'd be wrong, as biologically, humans are just another species of animal. The only thing that makes us different is that people are too stupid and self important to realize that we're the same. I think humans, which are social animals, adapted their morality as they evolved so that they could better work as a group, which would help promote the survival of the species.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Amills11 The bible also says that plants were created before there was a sun to allow them to live, and that's obviously bullshit, so I don't see why I should accept anything that your bible says without proof. Again, you're making claims and backing them up with a book. Would you like me to try to prove that elves exist by using Lord of the Rings? That would be just as moronic as what you're trying to prove with your bible. There's nothing to say that its reliable, and several to say it's not.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Amills11 Also, I'm not blaming the pope for every problem in Africa. I'm stating that him saying that condoms help the spread of AIDs instead of what they actually do, all for a religious reason, is bad. The point being was not that the catholic church is bad, but rather that religion can convince you to do absolutely horrible things, and still think that you'll be going to a perfect supernatural afterlife. That is not a good thing.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication As suppose to the belief that we are just animals and that morals should be dictated by societies standard at that time in place I know you didn't say that but that is what happens when there is no absolute moral authority. That is why Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot were able to do the things they did. Most of the things Catholics have done throughout the centuries were against Christians. A Bible believing Christian with sound doctrine will not do horrible things.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 And again, this is the no true scotsman fallacy. Simply because someone, a Christian, does something that proves you wrong, you claim that he isn't a 'true' christian, but I say bullshit. Besides, your own bible tells you to do things like sacrificing innocent animals, and stoning unruly children and unfaithful wives. That isn't exactly the guideline for morality right there. And no, most of the things the catholics have done were not against Christians, but against nonbelievers.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication "Hell, any religious leader who tells their followers that the spiritual aspects are more important then the physical. That weakens and damages our society." Would you like to use some examples to back up this claim.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Not any specific claims, instead, I shall use logic. Any religious leader that says that the spiritual aspects are more important then the physical are damaging their followers and society as a whole. When a person believes that this life doesn't matter as long as they've prepared for the next one, they will neglect this one, and not strive for the betterment of themselves and society, since nothing they can do here will ever compare to the supposed next life.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Acorafication When someone is focus on spiritual things that is when they are focused on the present life the most. That is why Christians will donate there time, money, and blood. I don't know anyone who has quit trying to suceed in this life because they are a Christian or anyone who has the mentality that this life don't matter. I have found that logic in non-believers. The drink and be merry for tomorrow we die mentality.
Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Yes, Christians donate time, money, and blood. So do nonbelievers. It simply isn't as publicized, because this country is still moronic enough to think that simply because someone is a nonbeliever, that they are a bad person. The fact that you don't know anyone like what I have said does not mean they do not exist. I have known several who've said that if they weren't told that suicide was a sin, they would kill themselves right then, just to be with god. And so would most Christians.
Acorafication 1 year ago

Amills11 1 year ago
@Amills11 Me making a sculpture would not prove that we have a creator, so no, "Any and all creation" does NOT reveal we have a creator. And evolution is based on science, considering it has been proven almost without a doubt. The only other option is if someone manipulated the world into simply appearing as if it had boundless amounts of evidence for evolution. It has nothing to do with accountability, since all it details is how animals changed. It has nothing to do with god.
Acorafication 1 year ago
@Amills11 Now, as to how the bible contradicts itself. Completely ignoring the blatant scientific inaccuracies and historical failings, here are a few questions I want you to answer.
1. How many women went to Jesus' tomb?
2. Has God ever tempted anyone?
3. Is Jesus peaceful?
4. When were the stars made?
5. Are Christians able to sin?
6. Does God respect anyone?
7. Should we rejoice when our enemies suffer?
And there are hundreds more.
Acorafication 1 year ago

"what you think is wrong or right cames from the Bible just think for a second "
No, you think for a second. Laws such as not to kill or steal have existed LONG before the Mosaic Laws and the 10 commandments. In cultures such as Mesopotamia and Egypt. Just to name TWO of many. And yes, they were even written laws.
tskasa1 1 year ago
This beautifully shows how their supposed 'God given morality' doesn't make them better people. If anything, it makes it easier for them to be worse people, as it allows them to sit down at the end of the day and pray to their god, and then they think they're covered.
The sad thing is, most Christians who see this will claim that 'they aren't true Christians' in another perfect example of the no true scotsman fallacy.

@Acorafication Wow you're really going to denounce Christianity just because of these serial killers? That's just sad.
IPawnt 1 year ago
@IPawnt No, I'm going to denounce Christianity because it's preposterous, immoral, and because every single argument in favor of Christianity has been based on one or more logical fallacies.
The fact that these serial killers happened to be Christians is just bonus.

The sad thing is, alot of those people probably weren't insane. They could have just been motivated by a curiously strong faith (altoids, anyone?). You can find justification in the bible for any of these acts if you so choosed.

Petty complaint, but I wish you'd use an actual photo of Aileen Wuornos instead of that of actress Charlize Theron playing Aileen Wuornos.

Strange? Yep. Rational? Nope.
AccountExpendable 1 year ago
These people only represent a small portion of Christians, and I noticed that you left out atheists who were mass murderers, i.e. Mao, Stalin, Hitler. I think you and me both know that there are bad apples in every institution. Not to claim believers in Jesus Christ are more moral or any less moral than atheist. And I think you do remember "Do not murder." is one of the Ten Commandments, right? Not to mention, "turn the other cheek" or "forgive and bless your persecutors".
AccountExpendable 1 year ago
@AccountExpendable
Honestly now..
bananabread119 1 year ago
@bananabread119 Fair enough. Did I say christians are all holy saints? No. And sorry, the Bible never teaches about buying and selling slaves and raping women. If there is, please point it out to me, so that I can agree with you. And you might want to cool down a little bit, you're getting all personal over nothing.
AccountExpendable 1 year ago
@AccountExpendable
Listen to me very carefully your blatant ignorance is damaging and dangerous to society. But you asked me a question and then you said you would agree with me if you found versus in the bible that condoned slavery? haha Well here you go!
Exodus 21: 1-4
Deuteronomy 15:12-18
Exodus 21:7 ..etc etc..
Ohh and rapping woman,
Deuteronomy 21:10-14
Deuteronomy 20:14
Exodus 21 7-11 Talks about how to buy and sell sex slaves! =)
bananabread119 1 year ago
@bananabread119 Maybe you should read these verses again without any prejudice, because they talk about marriage, not raping women. And that was the social system back then, everywhere around the globe. God had to use a way that humans can relate to. Blaming that on the Bible seems a bit far-fetched. Also, everything changed when Jesus came down. I'm not trying to convert you, just trying to have a friendly conversation here. =)
AccountExpendable 1 year ago
@AccountExpendable
Maybe you should read those versus yourself instead of ignoring them! Ohh and by the way none of those versus are from the old testament! =)
bananabread119 1 year ago
@bananabread119 I did read them, actually. And the 2 books are from the old testament. =)

@bananabread119 Uhm, yeah, whatever you want. =)
AccountExpendable 1 year ago
@bananabread119 I'm an atheist and anti theist, and I agree with you on those verses. They leave no room for interpretation and are very clearly about raping women, how to buy slaves etc
BUT, I just thought I should tell you that Exodus, and deuteronomy are both Old Testament books, not New Testament. Having said that, christians who try and get out of it by saying OT doesn't count anymore, are dumb since Jesus enforces OT laws himself in the NT.
Averagegamer100 1 year ago

In good things as a serial murder they believe the lord of mormon catholic and christain.
That's their good in them.
We don't know if it could possibly happen when we passed away.
But I do believe serial murder do go to heaven.
And god forgives their sins.
As a christain myself.

PriscillaRelentless 1 year ago
@PriscillaRelentless "good" by whose standard? Ever lie cheat or steal, lust, covet, etc.... Then you fail... How "good" is "good" your standard is probably based on the sliding scale of moral relativeism. Which actually is not a standard at all. Truth is unchanging, therefore "good" is unchanging. God's standard of good is perfection. If you tell me your perfect then I know your a liar and therefore under his standards not "good" enough. His heaven means His rules....
progressfabbrian 1 year ago
@progressfabbrian
PriscillaRelentless 1 year ago
@PriscillaRelentless
Christianity is the ONLY religon that make any claims to salvation.... That is the uniqueness of it.
Christ is the saviour.
progressfabbrian 1 year ago
@progressfabbrian
PriscillaRelentless 1 year ago
@PriscillaRelentless
And you are still skeptical....
progressfabbrian 1 year ago
@progressfabbrian
PriscillaRelentless 1 year ago
Why not "people atheists may meet in hell"? Or "people liberals would be against executing"?

Thanks for sharing. I just want to point out a few things. Not all Christians are like that. I am as Roman Catholic as they get, ( Italian and all :), but not every Christian person is evil, also I am big on serial killers and I have read a lot of books on Serial Killers, the majority fo them suffered brutal childhood, ( Sexual abuse, neglect, physical abuse ect) this inturn brought on some of their pyschosis to murder. Not that I am excusing this behaviour. Thanks for posting,
Isa.
