He was certainly a decent, humble and sweet person. Though I never really had the chance to get to know him closer while he was still alive, I always remember him as a very cool, yet warm and friendly person from the few times we met or hung out together. He was really a great guy. No doubt about that. May he rest in peace.

Although we don't talk very often, he was like my friend and my brother to me. I cried non-stop after hearing the saddened news. Please help to forward this email around - my Brother, Nicholas Ong attended the Adidas King of the Road run yesterday morning with his friend GARY, and his friend didn't meet him after the run. There is a video of Gary finishing the run and collapsing on you tube, but nobody knows where he is right now. They have checked all hospitals for him, but have failed to find him. He is not carrying any identification or hp.

This guy is lucky medic team spotted and helped him. One of my friend collapsed by road side about 2km to the finishing line and NO one from organisers were nearby. Another frriend had to flag down a cab and took him to nearby clinich. Poor poor organising system which reminds me of last year. These organisers never learn anything. Sheesh

I went for the run yesterday too... Adidas King of the Road, Stadium Shah Alam

[1] He ran the 22km run. His run category started at 6.30am.

[2] He went along with two of his friends.

[3] During the run, he ran ahead of his friends.

[4] If they got separated, they are to rendezvous at the bag counter in front of the stadium.

[5] After the run, his friends waited for him at the meeting point but her never showed up.

[6] Usually runners don't bring along their belongings (IC, HP, etc etc) during the run. They deposit it at the bag counter or leave it in the car. I'm not sure if he did bring a bag or not.

[7] His parents have been notified and i believe that they will lodge a police report as soon the 24 hour period is over.

[8] I did pass by the ambulance(the sign says its from Sungai Buloh Hospital) at about 9.15am(not too sure), but there was nobody there and i didnt notice anything out of the ordinary.

[9] I left the Stadium before the prize giving ceremony, but there was still really a lot of ppl there.
