fuckin awesome dude. two of my favorite head shots i have done was on a bird in my garage and a racoon outside my garage and i splatered its brains all over my garage wall.
Yeah My dads got the s410 carbine. And it's great. Although I don't use it very often. I prefer to use mine even though it's not as good. I just know it better :] The new air arms multishot is supposed to be very good too. Im going to invest in a new rifle. Have you heard much about the SMK rifles? :]
Because I don't have alot of cash. My friend has offered me a 70% reduction. Also someone lives near me who has one and swears by it :] I'll invest in a gas later. For now I just need something to get used to. I've got some old ones. but they're a bit inaccurate and not overly brilliant. :]
No the gun was zeroed at 35 yards. I had back stops set up ranging from 20 -52 yards and adjusted for elevation for each. The mil-dots are excellent for quick acquisition on larger targets but for head shots on mice a little finesse was needed :)
I don't believe in poison it can affect the environment as well as non target animals. And I am not a cat person I catch them and take them to the local SPCA.And yes they are worth shooting it helps my dime size groups get smaller :)
I'm doing that now with my beeman p3 open sights. If your a good shot & have great equipment its easy.Starlings & house sparrows aren't a native species here & are threatening our native birds so its not all fun & games but work.
Remember some birds are federally protected & can't be harmed. There are good birds & bad birds. The Crow can be bad but is classified as a migratory bird & have seasons like the squirrel.
alright let me get this straght, so if a starling, or crow, or sparrow,is on my yard i can shoot it? and for squirrels wait till they r in season? if so wen is the season for squirrels?
what is that? sorry for my ignorance, i just recently bought a winchester air rifle for the purpose of killing a rodent in my backyard. it only shoots 500 fps so i figure i should look for something that will increase the velocity or just the best ammo for that gun. i've only heard of those and scorpion blackmatch pellets... any advice?
Only 500 f.p.s. you can use any pellet just find the pellet that is more accurate.I suggest JSB exacts for high powered & precision rifles. And for those rifle that break the sound barrier I suggest Eun Jin pellets.
ntee...could you shoot mice like that all day long from that distance with your 410 if so i'd rather have one of those than a air force...also do you have to buy the pump separate? and how how much?
The S410 is more expensive than the air force brand unless you get a fully loaded condor.& I here this rifle is almost as accurate as the S410.I don't recommend a pump for either rifle. Save your self the time & buy a scuba tank.
hey ntee....i'm planing on getting a pcp gun .22 cal. i've read alot of reviews on different guns and many use the walther barrels that are said to be very accurate..i'm leaning towards a talon or the talon ss..any thoughts ?....looking for great accuracy ..i own a benjamin and a gamo cfx..they are ok but i'd like something even more accurate the airforce guns seem to be good from what i read..
well i want something for clean head shot kills on squirels and crows....something that can do this at40-50 yards consistantly...im sure you know how much the talons go for so for the same money (give or take a few)what are your thoughts on these guns?..or do you know of a better choice for the money?

It is a Air Arms S410 made in Great Britain except for the American made Lothar Walther shrouded barrel. You can find them priced between $600-$1200 depending on the model.
NTEE, you can't find any rats or mice left to shoot? Maybe the place you moved to is too clean! hehe Guys like us just need an old garbage dump or something.
Nice!!! Using filtered light or is this infrared. The lights moving in background is your lighting - are you following the recommended practice of "bouncing" the light rather than directly hitting your target with the light stream? Sorry. Thanks for the video!! Awesome.
I used Sony nightshot with the help of a low voltage bug spotlight to extend the range of the camera. There is a highway on the other side of my yard the lights where cars thats why I was using a 2x10 as a back stop

Yes.
Squirrel seasons depend on where you live. Just go ahead and shoot squirrels if you want. If anyone asks just tell them you think squirrels are pests.
And dont kill squirrels unless you are gonna eat them or keep their furs.
Well u can kill them without doin that stuff, Just dont kill a bunch of them with out doing something with them. Dont kill for the fun of it.
And yes birds dont matter. But still dont wipe out EVERY bird around.
Pelletgunhunter94 3 years ago
Remember some birds are federally protected & can't be harmed. There are good birds & bad birds. The Crow can be bad but is classified as a migratory bird & have seasons like the squirrel.

is it legal to shoot crows, squirrels, starlings, sparrows, grackle ect. ect. in new jersey?
squirrelkiller247 3 years ago
NO.
Juust make sure ssquirrel are in season.
Birds dont matter. But if any animal is a pest, kill it anytime you want.
Pelletgunhunter94 3 years ago
but it is legal tho only wen in season?
squirrelkiller247 3 years ago
Not if they are an annoying pest. If they are a pest on your land its okay.
But if you just wanna hunt them you have to wait until they r in season
Pelletgunhunter94 3 years ago
alright let me get this straght, so if a starling, or crow, or sparrow,is on my yard i can shoot it? and for squirrels wait till they r in season? if so wen is the season for squirrels?
squirrelkiller247 3 years ago
Wildlife pest species depend on your state, county, or town.Laws & ordinances also vary on how you can kill pest.
NTEESUPREME 3 years ago
In New Jersey I believe air guns are considered to be firearms. So check your local laws & ordinances.
NTEESUPREME 3 years ago
holy shit dude his head broke in half lol. what ammo are you using and what fps is your gun at? have you ever tried predator hollow points?
bizzle187 3 years ago
Max with JSB exacts is 955f.p.s.
No predator hollow points don't have a good B.C. rating.
