Two questions, what gems do you normally use for tanking raid bosses and what defense rating do would you need to be an efficient tank?

@Bordiran 550 or so def rating is required to be uncritable by bosses.

@DrossProwler Alright.. but what gems would you use? So if you don't have enough defense rating you use defense rating gems then you get like 550 defense rating.. what gems do you put in the other slots? This is for paladin tanking.

@Bordiran That, I don't know. Try to search WoW Head for some gems. Although your equipment alone should provide enough def rating on it's own. You should stack Stam to squeeze out most HP possible.

@Bordiran Paladin tanking is just like any other class' tanking. With T9, you'll have no problem getting 540 Defense without enchanting your gear to increase it. Typical tanks stack stamina in their sockets. The socket bonus' mean nothing. They're not worth losing the HP certain gems can give. Gem every socket with +30 Stamina (Blue) And ONE socket with a purple (+10 Dodge +15 Stamina) so you can still get the Meta bonus.

saph is easy going at my last naxx nhc run i don't really know what happened (i think our tank died oO) but i had the aggro für the last 25secs of the fight... with my hunter! okay for the first 5 secs i had my 100%parry chance skill but the last 20 secs my life was never ever under 50% so i was wondering why ti had the aggro that was strange...

best way to do it is to pug VoA 25 + 10 and OS10+25 weekly, then ofcourse heroic drops - do that for 2 weeks and ur bound to have atleast 10 epics :o

confirmed..some how u can confirm this but i just did..i got like 9 epics in 4 days of running only heroics....not many epics u can get tho for warriors from Hs
