I am new to all of this but have all the fundamentals down. I like the idea of having a theme to begin with and adding fills to it. Like using one lick and adding connecting notes from pentatonic scale to it.I also like how you concentrate on the rest. I used to think these great guitarists were so great because they could fill all the spaces with fast notes.I am learning it is not only about the notes you play,but when to put a period on the end of a sentence,so that it does not "run on".
