i would kind of disagree with you i have never heard of the Brits and Aussies having every thing secrogaterd, setting up group's like the KKK, tourchering, hanging, desmembering, beating and setting fire to black people all in the name of Jesus Christ.

That happened a lot in southen America, i know the British and the Austrailains are not perfect but i think were a bit more human than some Americans even in this day and age.

@praguhbis I cannot believe you can even suggest that Australians and Brits are far more racist then the Americans! Australians can be extreemly racist and there treatment of Aborigionals was disgraceful, but the country has come a long way since that time and with the exception of a few close minded people they are accepting of all races. One only need look at Americas attitude towards muslims to see that they haven't fully accepted all races and there beliefs. Don't forget the South.

I feel for Debbie and think Angie is a total turd, but you would not see this kind of inability to sew on the US or Aussie version.

The UK version seems to have a ton of people who skim by on lack of sewing skills. I mean, heck Season 1 and 2 had so much time crunch and bad workmanship that they would all get kicked out.

Angie makes good reality television: she doesn't know how to shut her mouth. Great for TV, bad for her career.

That what a buyer does. I am a merchandise planner and work with buyers. The point of the buyer is to buy what people want and will buy. It is about buying what is trending TODAY. If a merchandise is great for the future, we will buy it in the future when it will make us money. Since it isn't the trend now and today, it would not be wise to buy it.

one fo the goals of the original task, if i'm not mistaken that is, was to make a garment for macintosh that was cutting edge, for the future of macintosh. bringing in buyers like you who are in the market for bread and butter , not buyers say for a new designer shop or buyers for a new cutting adge line, i think was a bad idea: that's what i was getting at with what i said.

You are talking about two different things. In this brief, Macintosh is seeking a new development. They are seeking to expand their base and attract new set of customers. This is different than what we spoke about above. Macintosh has an idea that they want to attract a young and edgy client base. The buyers in this case are looking for designers whose design speaks to that young and edgy base.

Ben touching people's garments and doing stuff to them is just ridiculous. Tim never touches anyone's designs. And then Ben's going to go and judge this stuff? No.

They didn't show everyone's designs being shown to the buyers. I don't care about a stupid party. I want to know what they designed and what these buyer people said to them.

Ben playing this dual role is what changes so much this season. Ben has been "hands-on" helping people in other seasons of PC, but as a judge, so far, he has been candid about that with the other judges. Debbie was struggling with construction aspects of her coat, but her design was not the worst of the lot.
