  • man, who would dislike this?.......

  • Praise God Almighty!!! Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

  • Nice prayer.

  • So if I go and murder 100 people, my excuses in the court should be "I work in mysterious ways" or "It is all according to my plan". Wow religion is so fucking dumb.

  • @soadpwnsyou It is a most important distinction that God is God, and you (& I or anyone else) is not. He is not just another person among equals. He IS the standard. Thankfully, He is holy and just and good, so even though "His ways are higher than our ways" they are always perfect. This isn't saying anything shocking. This is even true (to a lesser degree) of men who are brilliant. I might not understand how they get from A to B, but I can appreciate the results. Exponentially greater with God.

  • What type of an excuse is that!? What is so mysterious about being a acting like a fuckin asshole sometimes.

  • @sinprelic Really? Think with me a for a moment on this.. This "mysterious way," though very Christian, is not uniquely so. What great fiction writer hasn't employed the cloak-and-dagger scheme in his plot---all looks lost, but ... justice triumphs. What great military leader hasn't used deception to lull his enemy to sleep or into over confidence?! The cross of Christ is the same---defeat? NO! Triumph through the appearance of defeat! Be careful of calling God "stupid." Maybe YOU'VE been duped!

  • @ScottGDav more fairy tales. sorry mate, i'm a practical man, and hands clasped in prayer can indeed only spout cliches and a lot of waffle. nothing has changed, you still have all the usefulness and reality of your gods to prove. god(s) is/are nowhere, really, unless you define him/them as (a) motif(s) for cliches and empty words. do you dare disagree with me on that one? i need to see how far removed from reality you are planning to be if we are to continue having this discussion.

  • @sinprelic Hard to call this a discussion when you completely ignore all the substance of my argument and make no arguments yourself. Stating your skeptical opinions is no argument. Speaking of your skepticism, it's ironic that you are so confident (non-skeptical) of your skepticism (and materialism). Why so skeptical of everything religious/spiritual, but not skeptical of your skepticism?

  • @ScottGDav (a) to be skeptical of skepticism is defined as solipsism. it is the worst character trait one can have. you are a possessor of the worst character trait. (b) the substance to your argument, i quote: "What great fiction writer hasn't employed the cloak-and-dagger scheme / What great military leader hasn't used deception to lull his enemy to sleep / The cross of Christ is [triumph]" --> thanks for those extremely zero-hypothesis ideas a bacterium could come up with, you smart person!

  • @sinprelic No, "being skeptical of skepticism" is called being consistent, something you obviously don't trouble yourself with. You clearly also don't trouble yourself with actual thought or manners. I'll gladly take Jesus' selfless ethic over your self-absorbed one. At least there, you are a consistent Atheist.

  • @ScottGDav how nice of you to devour only half the apple of religion :o)

  • @AllofGrace06 - I was wondering that myself. I know this better to the tune London New. It sounds a bit John-Rutter-like, but I don't know either. Whoever set it, it's very pleasant.

  • an awesome inspirational and one of the unique songs of encouragement....especially wen u kno the story behind william cowper penning down these lyrics....

  • I like the part that says... the clouds ye so much dread are big with mercy and shall break in blessings on your head. :O))) I like that. IT's raining blesssings :O) YAY! Praise Jesus! =D :O3

  • Anybody know who composed this music?

  • a choir the first class
