  • What are the lyrics for the rest of the song?

  • it is a non-spiny cactus that grows in a very limited area

of the Rio Grande: northern Mexico, and the counties near

laredo, eagle pass, del rio, and mirando city, Texas.

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN was filmed partially in that area; the hotel in the final scenes was in EaglePass i think.

  • can anyone tell me wich tribe used peyote? cause people tell me all native american tribes used peyote? i was just wondering i might get thumbs down for askin. but i was curiose. oh i love the song!

  • the lineage is basically Lipan Apache/comanche/kiowa/southern cheyenne & arapahoe/

& on up thru oklahoma northward & then as far over as chippewa country - minn. & michigan...

no mayans, aztecs, as far as we know, and definitely no Incas.

  • i could be wrong but i think the navajo are from peyote's habitat'

    i'm like 80% sure

  • yeah you're wrong [sorry] . peyote habitat is SW Texas along the rio grande, and then below, in Mexico. Navajoland is the 4 Corners of the Southwest: Arizona, New mexico, Utah, and Colorado. only Peyotl that grows in the 4Corners is what's been planted and cared for by 2-leggeds.

  • I used to sing this song while i was at work all the time. I had heard it so many times i knew it by heart and i always thought it was so very beautiful.

  • Indeed it can when one lets it resonate deeply. Thank you for viewing :)

Father Help Me, I Want to Live!

    ♥♥♥

  • I've been wanting to know those lyrics for soooo long now. Thank you

  • I love these pictures...
