i have two cockatiels and my baby one does the same thing that kiwi does. she will pace in front of thedoor to her cage till i pick her up to play or she chases me around the house. lol

People, you need to realize clipping their wings is GOOD! You do it until your bird realizes you are it's equal, you won't hurt it, it wants to come to you. Then you let them grow out and it can fly. Unless you want an untamed bird who flies away from you, clip it's wings.

it was only during her first year, to be able to tame her better. Now she have her wings fully grown and she is free in the house all the time.
