Butch saved this series a lot of the episodes weren't that fantastic in this series but for me Butch made me change my mind and made me give the entire series 9.5 ouy of 10 I also liked episodes Spencer the Grand, Stop that Bus and Tree Toruble

Of course he should be shown running on roads and not on rails. What's the point of having a road vehicle run on rails all the time? That sort of takes away his purpose as a vehicle as a whole!

@Zorran202 you will be pleased to know Flynn finally rides the roads in series 16 which airs 20th February channel 5, this first episode is Race to the Rescue plot is It's Flynn the Fire Engine's first day out on the road. He has had his wheels fixed by Victor. Now Flynn can roll on the roads as well as the tracks!
@93DOL Too bad he'll be 'a big red wobble on roads' or whatever the synopsis says... They finally showed him rolling on roads.......................and they screw it up by making him be a moron again like in the previous episode (I don't need to elaborate what the episode was featuring Flynn)...... I don't get it, he acted like a pro. in Day of the Diesels, but in the main series, he acts like an idiot.... It's like they're screwing their own characters like they did with the classic ones! -_-'

Hey, Butch's US voice is very close, I'm guessing, to the gruff sort of tone that Butch (<-- Having been nothing but set dressing for ten seasons) seems to have given his fan base. Not to be a troll or anything of that nature, but I prefer Rupert Degas' voice for him. Regardless, funny to see Sir Topham Hatt taking a "sample" from M.C. Bunn's bakery.
