We stay in a cabin, which is more than $32 a night! That being said, the bathrooms are open to the outside, there are no ceilings, so birds poop from the trees when they are resting, as the the trees overhang the bathrooms. Wear flip flops and bring a rag to clean it up if you are so disgusted about it. This place is not clean, but for the water and snorkeling, I will put up with a dirty bathroom.
Please explain to me how you can be so spoiled to be staying on the nicest island in the VI, walking distance from my favorite beach in the world and waste your time making this video about the "poor conditions" of the BATHROOMS. Don't kid yourself by saying that your "camping" and then complain about bathroom conditions. Your lucky that you even had a bathroom to go to. Next time stay at caneel bay or the westin if your going to be that picky. Don't go giving cinnamon bay a bad name either!
its a state run park! gimme a break!! go to any park in Texas and you will find bird droppings on the picnic tables.using the bathroom in a public park is always an awful experience.they do have a store where you could have purchased cleansers so that you could have cleaned to your liking so that you could comfortably use the facilities. 5-10 minutes of my time and i get first dibs at an immaculate public bathroom that I know is cleaned well because it was cleaned with my hands.
My guess is the droppings are not from birds but from lizards. We stayed at Maho Bay camps and the facilities were pristine, but even where there's screening the geckos find their way in and leave little black turds.
Do yourself a favor and book at Maho Bay Camps next time- it really is paradise and not much more expensive than the state run Cinnamon Bay...
