hey! I actually got pregnant soon after this video so i've been trying to avoid using arcylics and gel nails because of the fumes :( But my baby is due April 10th so I will try and do one after he comes :D

I put Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps Acrylic Gel+Nylon on my nails as a base coat under my regular polish and my nails don't break.

I don't know if you've tried that. I have brittle nails too.

oh the kiss nails are what i use! thay are the best. i'b been usung for about six months now. way cheaper then paying for them to be done. and they wont break. i was always at the shop fixing a broken one... but the kiss nails have saved my life... and my wallet! hehe!

I too had bad nails. I now take MSM and my nails are "hard as nails". I have to keep them filed down so I don't claw my son. Hope this helps ya'll! Love the videos, thanks!

MSM is a sulfer ( not sulfa) supplement. The body needs sulfer to regenerate itself. EVERY cell in the body can regenerate not just nails and hair, but my nails and hair grow extreamly well now. I am not a DR this is my opinion through use and results. If interested contact me for more info.

I like your Video .. may be you can help me with is question , I got a few things at sally to do my daughters nails and when I try to apply the acrylic and liquid it gets hard on the nails so fast I don't have time to even spread it on the nails .. I know how to do nails I have done it for over a year on my nails and my daughters but this is a new product I got and not sure if its the liquid. do you think it could be the liquid ?

OMG I can't believe you posted this. I have done acrylic nails at home before (I used to work as a nail tec a 100 yrs ago lol) and it has been a whlie. So I've been looking into gel nails. No one around here does them and then here you are talking about an at home gel kit YAY I can't wait.

I love that you have so much detailed info in your videos and that the things you show can easily be found. Not eveyone has a MAC pro or CCO around the corner or in a 100 miles in my case lol.

Not sure if you've tried it or not, but for my maincure customers' nail growth, I've always recommended Mavala Scientifique (nail hardener) and Mavaderma (nail growth stuff that you don't put on the nail itself, but on your finger just above your nail). I've known people to have a lot of luck with it.

i tried those kiss everlasting nails and they were really good, the lasted me a while, to take them off is really easy and doesnt mess up your nails. you get 100% acetone, you can get that at Sally's and they dissolve right off, way better than acrylics

I have the same type of nails, but I can't wear acrylics because I play the guitar! :( I just use lots and lots of nail strengtheners and file off any jagged edges so they don't break.

I can't wait for your acrylic tutorial. I have been doing them a while myself. They are actually really easy to do. And it is so much cheaper then getting them done. I just bought a bag of 500 hot pink nail tips for $3. I wanted something besides the white tips. What other method is easier then acrylics though? Well I can't wait!

I love China Glaze and Orly.... a lot of people like OPI but as you said the first coat takes forever to dry and if you put another coat on it gets all gunky and discusting!!! I'm not a fan of OPI.
