Thanks for the lovely video! Check out my 'Vaccination Information Network' and Childbirth Information Network' on facebook. I have just posted an item about the use of pitocin in hospitals to deliberately cause fetal distress as an excuse to perform a cesarean!!!
Beautiful home water birth, thank you so much for sharing your story of empowering birth! I feel inspired by this to make my own waterbirth picture story, and I hope our stories inspire other mothers to choose peaceful waterbirths and birthcenter or homebirths over drugged hospital birth! Having done both I can say that waterbirth is the way it was ment to be!! I felt violated and tramatized after the hospital birth of my first, and my waterbirth healed me, I was reborn when I trusted birth!!
wow your family is so beautiful! this video is really inspirational and shows how strong women are! its amazing! =) thank you for sharing this with others!
Your video was amazing, inspirational and moving. What a beautiful view on birth. I had my first at home 11 months ago and will never have it any other way! Thank you for creating a video that can be shared with others to show just how beautiful and empowering birth is!!!!
your video made me cry- i had my first child, a boy, three months ago at home with two fantastic midwives, and your video brought all of the emotion right back--it's so true the quote you put about the secret of women's strength- beautiful
Congratulations on the beautiful homebirth of little Abby. You did a great job. I am due to have my 5th baby (second homebirth) in December. Feel free to watch my montage I have done of my last homebirth.
Absolutely beautiful video!! We had our first home birth in January, and it was amazing. Our first was a natural birth (with a Doula) in the hospital too, and I loved my birth so so much, that it paved the way to our HB in January. I can't wait to birth again!
Beautiful family, you husband looks so sweet and in love with all of you!! Congrats, she is a gorgeous baby girl!
You did a really great job. Although you might not have seen it, through pain and hurt, theres love and peace..you just have to perservier to find it. You did and it was the most beautiful I've seen.
I just watched your beautiful video and it brought tears to my eyes. Childbirth has always been an incredible part of life for me and I have shared my journey with many. Thank you for sharing your tender moments with me. May your lives always be blessed with the love I have seen in your video.
you did a really great job. as a 14 year old boy doing a project, i was convinced that birth was something that was painful, of course i would never no that for sure. you showed me that it is painful but it pays off from the heart. congratz
The more of these beautiful home births that I watch, the more I want to try it for myself...assuming I ever get pregant again! (we currently have three daughters)
Those are some of the most gorgeous, touching photographs I've ever seen. If only THESE pictures of birth were mainstream award winners, home birth would regain it's rightful place in America, abortion rates would plummet, families would be happier, etc. etc.
I have a dear friend who just underwent the knife simply due to her baby being breech who I want to see this as I think it will help her want to go for a hbac next time!!!
we used an aquadoula too! i LOVED that thing. this was such a gorgeous video. bless you for blessing the world with birthing the way it was intended to be. i made a video of our birth too! gosh babies just fill my heart so full with love
Waht agreat video. It was so calm and loving. My first (twins) were born by C-section and it was awful and not a great experience. Next time I am going to have a non-assisted birth no matter what.
I'm pregnant with my first and I'm planning on a hospital birth. However, we are going to still have a drug free natural birth. I think that since it is my first, it would be the next best thing. We will have a doula with us to be our advocate at the hospital to take away some of the scare tactics that the hospital may put on us.
Doulas are rad! They're one of the best tools you can have a for an unmedicated, hospital birth! And I'm not just saying that because I am a doula who plans on getting her Certified Nurse Midwife degree. ;-)
Beautiful. My first daughter was born in a hospital as well, it was a wonderful pregnancy but she was born by c-section... Our second daughter almost was born at home, it wasn't posible, but she arrived with respect and love in a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After C-section).
Thanks for sharing. (And sorry for my english! I'm spanish)
Thankyou so much for sharing this video. Our first daughter was born in a hospital as well, an experience we dont wish to repeat. I'm 5 weeks along with our second child, and hoping/planning for a home water birth this time around. Videos like yours are so inspiring and peaceful, and just makes me even more confident in our decision to have a more gentle experience this time. Your daughter is beautiful, bless you all
I've been so disturbed by some of the hospital birth videos I've seen - all those latex gloves and tubes and machines and people in masks everywhere. Your birth looked so special and your daughter is lovely. God bless you all.
Thank you so much for putting this video on youtube. It was wonderful. I wish everyone understood that childbirth does not always have to be so medical, and that it is not a surgery. Congrats to you and your beautiful family.
What a beautiful video. It made me cry. Wonderful choice of music, photography...even the quote at the end. Congratulations on the birth of that beautiful baby girl. God bless your newest addition!
A real tearjerker this one, even for a grown man like me! Thanks so much for sharing!
